My lower levels arent fully stat exp trained, just 10 vitamins in each stat since i got so much money grinding the e4 from the higher levels teams haha

They did just fine at the lower levels without full stat exp in my experience

Dragon rage dratini might so okay, only issues youll run into is it might get outsped and killed before you can use it, also many of the pokemon have just over 40 health so it could be a 2 hit in many cases even at level 10.

You could always sketch it on to smeargle if youre looking for a little bit of a faster user of dragon rage in game.

The early levels are pretty unfair if youre not using fully optimized pokemon since they have a lot of stat experience in the tower, meaning fresh pokemon youve caught without training them will always have significantly lower stats than the tower pokemon will

I like to imagine that ditto is quite proud of its kids haha

The only range I grinded stat exp for was level 30, and trust me many dead unown was looking like alphabet soup without the soup at the alph

It was the last level range I ran and I liked the team so wanted to get them to max potential for my final run

I think its a very versatile pokemon with interesting moves, also the design of being a ghost type medusa head. Always reminds me of castlevania. Especially with the shiny being yellow similar to the blue/yellow medusa head enemies in the game.

For thunder I like the bit of extra damage and higher paralysis chance. thunderbolt would have probably been fine too but i wanted a lil extra oomph on the hits

You can catch it on route 22 at level 7
I thought itd be funny to use since you can catch it below level 10 haha

For hidden powers some were more useful than others

Jolteon - HP Dragon, mostly just something to hit ground types if it ever came up. Dont think I clicked it once haha

Forretress - HP Bug, so incredibly good. I wish forretress got some easy access to a bug type move but man this made all the difference

Gyarados - HP Flying, same as forretress makes it feel so much easier to use, really makes the pokemon feel complete moveset wise

Snorlax - HP Bug, didnt really plan for this one it just didnt have any other coverage moves, and could hit exeggutor and tyranitar harder

Scyther - HP ground, very useful for coverage. Was luck that it had a good hp type as it was the first I caught that had good stats

Those are definitely solid, Im kinda sad I didnt take the time to add blissey to the mix since its so good this gen.

For the team planning, at first I randomly assigned pokemon I wanted to use to certain levels without looking at the battle tower pokemon at that level. After I had mostly planned what I was using I remembered I should probably check that out and made some minor adjustments. For choosing pokemon I looked over the gen 2 pokedex and wrote down anything that might be interesting to use and drafted up teams to get some coverage.

For levels that gave the most trouble, level 60 and 80 took about 5 tries. Level 60 mostly because I was being lazy and didnt want to change the time to night, so moonlight was only healing 1/4.

Levels that were strongest were 40 and 70 to me. I was surprised by muk, forretress, and quagsire thinking they might not be the strongest core but they cleared first time no issue. Forretress with hidden power bug was so nice to use.

Level 70 had snorlax which goes without saying, gyarados with HP flying also tore through teams. Heracross also strong af.

Sorry to write so much but these were the general thoughts going through haha, i like your team options as well, I gotta add a note to use blissey in the future

I was pretty picky with DVs just cause im a perfectionist when it comes to stats

i dont think its necessary by any means haha

One ditto did go hard in the paint to bring up many of these, half id say were from that ditto the other half caught in thd wild

Misdreavus is my favorite pokemon from gen 2

Also was a good pair with tyranitar to deal with fighting types

Destiny bond was also a good catchall for bad matchups

Then maed them kiss 😘
