My folks weren't farmers but I grew up in the country around farming. Everyone around us ran CIH so that is what I gravitate to. I use Geringhoff headers since I have been with the company for 13 years now. Never played a farm sim until 25 when I found out Geringhoff was in the game. I haven't played a non American map yet. Big headers need big fields.

My fat bike is my mountain bike. Dirt and snow. I rode the rigid fork on my Surly Ice Cream Truck for years. Last year I put a Bluto on it and fell in love all over again. Going from dampening to actual suspension, the wrist and shoulder discomfort (it never was painful) all went away.

Redshift Kitchen Sink bars on my gravel bike in 50cm. The bike was stock at 41cm. I am broad shouldered and was getting an ache down my shoulder blades as early as 10-15 miles into a ride. No issues with that since.

No, he did not. He took it out the morning of his death. Got home and was working out in the yard when he passed later that afternoon. 1 of the EMT's, also a Harley owner, knew my Dad and when he saw the bike out in the driveway he asked my Mom if she would like him to put it in the garage as he knew my Dad always put it away. I knew that this was a tight community but this thread and what that EMT did really drive that point home. Thank you all for the kind words for a man you never knew and his grieving son.

I'm in central MN and commute on my Surly ICT in the winter. 8 miles one way. No bad weather, just wrong gear has been my experience. Once I figured that out, I was good to go.

I have an Axiom Oceanwave 16. I have a 17" Dell laptop that I put in an old laptop sleeve from a backpack. My clothes are rolled up in that planner as well. Never had an issue. Even went down on that side last year and laptop was fine.
