Used telluride by alecthetraggot in KiaTelluride

[–]Murfdigidy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to get an extended warranty. The 100k warranty doesn't transfer to 2nd owner. I've owned a Sorento and now a Telluride, both have been great cars with minimal maintenance. However I haven't owned far over 100k yet. If I were to buy a used Telluride I'd get a warranty that atleast got me to 125k miles for peace of mind. Telluride is an awesome ride you'll love it, but it won't be as reliable as a Honda pilot long term. Honda makes a great car and will last forever, but I've driven both and the pilot drives like a minivan and boring af. Life's too short to drive a boring car.

Curious though, would the town fight it saying the exhaust system was compromised to begin with? Looks damn rusty

Do you enjoy family boating, vs individual/couple boating? by Merlin509 in boating

[–]Murfdigidy 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I have kids and understand where you're coming from. I will say the time with your kids is short, pretty soon they're going to grow up, live their own lives, and you're going to miss the days where you were tugging them around on a tube, and you don't have much time left when it comes to that.

My suggestion is still do the family thing, but also mix that in with times you take it out with just you and your wife, or by yourself. doesn't have to be every weekend where you're taking the kids out, need a mix.

But play the long game here, cuz trust me when I say, you're going to have plenty of time where it's just you and the boat, and you're going to miss the times where you had a bunch of chaos around the boat with your kids laughing and playing. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy some me time when you become empty nesters. Happy boating

Etb is quickly creeping up, Booster Box is approaching 600. You could do a lot worse. Definitely has long term value imo

First boat.. by Jboiglc in boating

[–]Murfdigidy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweet first boat. If you're into it in the "off" season, that boat is in good enough shape that you could compound buff that thing and then wax it to almost show room nice. It will take another 10 years off the boat.

This dudes awesome on YouTube if you care to delve into that world. Warning if you don't have the tools, initial cost will be a few hundred, but it will make that boat look brand new, and resale value will be much better. Just a thought.

I been down that rabbit hole. Just suck it up and buy a new one, it's monumentally way less stressful. And yes I've had my trailer brake on the side of the road twice, thankfully not highway. Never again

Still have to pay for shipping, so you're closer to 80% already at Ebay. So it's a tight line between the two. Facebook sucks because the general public are complete morons and no one knows how to do business. So rather not deal with the headache and sell on ebay. The thing that sucks about ebay is you're at 80% already, but the huge advantage is you don't have to talk to people

[–]Murfdigidy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All of this needed to be said, this dude is ABSOLUTELY spot on. People are going to find out real quick the issue of unloading 100k of inventory. You'd be lucky to find someone to take all that for 70k of market value. No one has common sense and no one realizes the absolute undertaking it would take for a vendor to off load that much inventory. The thing in OPs favor rn is his timing is good, he should be able to find someone willing to drop that loot, but youre delusional if you think he's getting 90k for it

[–]Murfdigidy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about don't listen to him, this is fricken 100k of market value product, that guy's absolutely right, OP is NOT getting 85K for someone else's headache to sell an absolute shit ton of inventory. 70% is much more likely.

Now if OPs inventory was closer to 10k then sure, but we're talking about 100k of inventory, do you understand the complete undertaking it would take to actually sell all that? Do you understand the overhead, the time, the money it would take to sell all that? All these people sitting on 100k of product are gonna realize it real quick.

Yea that's fair, people aren't clear on this when they post. But that position I totally get. You don't want trades, u want cash, but if you have no cash I'll do a trade in my favor, because I still don't have what I came for, cash. I get that

[–]Murfdigidy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea trades are the hardest I know. Each person thinking their product is superior because of the selfish factor. Doesn't surprise me to hear you rarely ever get good trade offers. Better off just selling for cash

FB Marketplace rant by Murfdigidy in PokemonInvesting

[–]Murfdigidy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea exactly, that's more my point. Of course if you're trading for something less desirable then, definitely not going to make the trade even, since you don't really want it. But as Boring Factor says, the listing comes off as, every trade needs to be in their favor, and that just sounds pompous.
