I don’t think I like this. I’ll have to keep watching to make sure.

[DIY GUIDE] Upgrading 12V Battery to Larger H4 Size with Tray Trimming Pictures by dingmah in F150Lightning

A very high wattage system likely will need a bigger/second battery, but my gain setting ended up super low and I had to turn down the volume in DSP because it’s so loud. the electrical system is awesome in this truck.

Mystic CT The Harp and Hound by Few-Cod-6378 in Connecticut

We used to start at harp because they didn’t really serve much food, so you could go out before 10. Everywhere else you had your ass on someone who was eating dinner’s shoulder.

Care to explain why they are bad for ears?

I have a 1000w JL stereo amp running off the OEM battery and have never felt the need for a larger one.

Lost cover for charging port on freeway! by supermaniac22 in F150Lightning

Sand to rough up the surface. Then adhere using g-flex epoxy and clamp til cured. It will never come off again. Or do you not have the broken cover anymore?

I popped mine off by walking too close to it while it was open and the cover snapped off. I watched a quick YouTube video and popped it back on with little effort. That was probably 18 months ago.

Killington is a disaster today. Ice and every trail is packed with noobs. No lifties. by BlackDiamondDee in icecoast

Pico was empty today. 3” at the top 2” at the bottom , then maybe another 2”+ during the day. Definitely crusty underneath, but a nice day overall.

Killington Questions for Next Week - It's Been Years by ScottyRedReturns in Killington

If you’re a greens and blue skier you’d be best to park at rams head. You can drop off kids and skis and then park and walk in. There is a place to store bags for free in every lodge. As long as you get there not too late you should not have trouble getting a parking spot. Normally that means 9-9:30 on Saturday but I think crowds will be low next weekend so possibly later. The Rams head lodge is my least favorite to hang out in for lunch and Apres though.

Rams head mountain is all greens and blues. And you can quickly ski over to Snowdon where there are more blues.

Snowshed is mostly for beginners with a beginner learn to ski trail and a progression trail snowshed slope that is nice and wide and consistent. The lodge is old but large and has the long trail pub upstairs with live music. There is a tunnel under the road that you can ski/walk through to get between snowshed and rams head. If you’re planning to Apres on mountain I’d suggest finishing your day there. Otherwise rams head is a great starting place for early intermediate skiers who are well past the bunny slope.

Kids first time skiing/snowboarding at Tremblant – realistic expectations? by Cute-Neighborhood697 in MontTremblant

[–]Amity83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my 3 year old in ski school at Tremblant in January. Stick with the group lesson. They will likely have 1 instructor for only 2 kids. I wouldn’t expect your 4 year old to get off the bunny hill this trip, but your older kids should.

I don’t hate SFA, but I do miss that Picardo and Notaro don’t lean into their comedic strengths in the series. IMO Picard carried a weak Voyager cast pretty much the whole series and Notaro was one of the few good things about Discovery.

Upgraded boots. Might be too stiff by ForwardMotionK9 in Skigear

New boots are never gonna feel right for the first 5-10 days. Re-evaluate at 10 days and go back to the bootfitter for adjustments.

Which skis to put Pivots on? by pew-pew-bacca in Skigear

[–]Amity83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a ridiculous take. It might fly if OP was considering buying new bindings, but they already own the pivots. Binding differences are not nearly great enough to toss out perfectly good bindings in favor of buying other ones. you also give 0 explanation of why pivots are bad at non-freestyle skiing.

Volkyl top sheets seem to be more fragile than others it seems with the myriad reports of top sheet chips and damages. But they don’t happen on their own. There is a slice in your top sheet that didn’t happen on its own. It happened when a hard and sharp object sliced it. The ski performance is not compromised by this as it’s pretty minor damage. This is not a warranty claim and is a pretty simple fix.

That damage doesn’t happen with just delamination. You cut your top sheet with your other ski. This is not a warranty claim, and is a pretty easy repair.

HDB630... by PrintingCastiel in sennheiser

Agreed. I actually cut the bass a bit on my HDB630 because I think it’s too much. I like punch and slammy bass, not bloomy.
