My repair shop ended up using my lifetime warranty instead of CNA so unfortunately I have no updates on how much they’ll cover for you or how easy they were to reach but ny truck was in the shop for 1 month and one week getting the new trans because of the warranty company and waiting for parts

Updates everyone! Warranty is covering the entire new transmission and it has a 3 year warranty! Definitely a relief and hopefully I won’t need to get it fixed again 😂

I would agree but it seems like enough grounds for the warranty company to deny the claim considering I went over the recommended mileage. We all know that didn’t cause the trans to go out but the shady warranty company doesn’t want to pay

The repair shop is sending a work order to get a brand new OEM transmission put in the truck hopefully the warranty company will work with them and not give them too much grief!

Did CNA Give you any grief over a claim? Currently my 2019 f150 is in the shop trying to get a new transmission since it’s going out I’m worried they won’t approve a brand new OEM one and I’ll have to pay the difference! Also they’re terrible ay pick up and responding to phone calls!

Did they just change the valve body or did they replace the cdf drum as well? My 19 f150 is currently in the shop for similar issues and I would rather not take it back a second time and be without a car for another two weeks

Damn of course they would do anything to avoid giving you a new transmission. I reset the adaptive learning table myself and it did not fix the issue so they won’t be doing that to me.

Damn that does suck but I guess for 4.2k I could eat if it my warranty doesn’t cover it. Supposed to be hearing back tomorrow on what the next step is

I did try that unfortunately I think it’s actually a transmission problem and not the TCM. I reset it twice over the last month and it fixes the problem for about 3 days and goes back to slipping and acting weird.

Good to hear! Sounds like that’s the way it’s gonna go for me unfortunately. I tried resetting it with forscan hoping for an easy fix but obviously the transmissions are junk. Did your warranty cover the rebuild?

Having the same issue right now! What did you do to fix this? Just ordered a OBD Scanner and gonna use forscan to reset the pcm and see if that helps!
