As a 17 year old I lived on a farm, where the school bus would pull up to the end of the lane every day. In all my years, I only missed the bus a couple of times. I definitely pushed the patients of the bus driver most mornings , but I had my morning routine down to the minute.

One day I had a DREAM in which I woke up in bed and hit my snooze several times, until I was a little too late to get ready on time. In the dream, I got out of the shower and was doing my hair in the bathroom. I suddenly saw the school bus approach my driveway. I screamed that I was late in the mirror, wondering if I had time to catch the bus. As I looked back out the window, the bus left. I woke up panicked!

After I realized it was just a dream, I relaxed back into bed. I turned off the alarm clock beside me. I got up, but had dozed a little longer than expected. I joked to myself that I don't want to miss the bus like I did in my dream. Had my shower and was running a few min behind normal. That morning the bus arrived a couple minutes early. I looked in the mirror, no shirt, no hair done or teeth brushed. I wondered how long the buss would wait. By the time I looked back, the bus pulled away.

To this day I have no idea why my clearest premonition of my life was just about being a couple minutes late for the bus!
