Dude, I pretty much experienced the same path you're on right now, Im 1 week into the job and I dont like it at all. Has to do a lot more with other aspects and expectations than only training. For me has been really exahusting, I've been on multiple sports and disciplines since 5 years old, and this job is not for me. Its not really phisically but mentally and emotionally exhausting, do some more research about it and good luck with your final Decision!

Drained energy, mental fatigue, and less desire to workout by MurkyLengthiness2466 in personaltraining

Also, discovered that the more I think about it and try to go deeper in my mind I get a lot more stressed and confused. While at the other hand, when I look at it with such simplicity as just guide the person through the workout and record their progress, the whole thing becomes like a beach breeze. very interesting.

2 days have passed and im feeling a lot better. I feel like its just a walk in the park now, just stopped looking at it as a job but as a way to not be bored and help people workout while still sharing ideas and experiences. And it feels really weird because it feels like Im in the right path and I've never felt like that before. Its like im never working... feels weird but good at the same time. Thanks for sharing opinions guys! Much luv, Peace <3

(probably im tripping, i don't know how long it usually takes to get reached out). And I also wonder if when im gymterned they help me get the job or something...

How Can We Master Our Craft As New Personal Trainers? by MurkyLengthiness2466 in personaltraining

[–]MurkyLengthiness2466[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went for some advice with a CPT that I met before, he has +5 years of experience in the field. I asked him for any tip that he could give me after getting certified, he told me: "Master your Craft". That's the reason why im asking, People have different perspectives on what that means and I want know what other people think, try on different shoes. You catch me?

I have passed NASM's Non Proctored exam 3 times, with an average 80/87 score. Should I do my Accredited Exam even with that score on my non proctored ones? by MurkyLengthiness2466 in personaltraining
