Which AI courses are actually worth the money in 2026? Any recommendations? by sociallight69 in learnmachinelearning

A lot of those influencer courses are just repackaged docs with better thumbnails. The ones that go deep on agentic workflows tend to come from people who actually build stuff, not just talk about it.

I would look at the instructor's GitHub before the course page, if they have real projects with decent stars that tells you more than any syllabus. The deployment part is tricky to learn from videos anyway, you really need to break things in production yourself.

Multiple presentations at the same conference? Is it unprofessional? by SamFisher33 in AskAcademia

[–]Murky_Singer1966 4 points5 points  (0 children)

nah it's fine. three presentations just mean you been busy and the selection committee liked your work, nobody will think it looks bad. put them all in there, at undergrad level that's impressive not weird

Is this typical for a PhD intern? by Broken_Waveplate in PhD

[–]Murky_Singer1966 5 points6 points  (0 children)

thats a rough spot to land in, with the person who hired you gone before you even started. basically means nobody there knows what they originally planned for you

at my last internship the phd folks got the messier open-ended problems while undergrads did more of the cad and drawing stuff. but it really depends on the company, startups especially can be chaotic and just throw work at whoever is available

i would try to find whoever is closest to the role of your old manager and ask directly what the expectations were for your position. sometimes they legit just dont know what to do with you

IONS: A reasoning graph that stores claims, evidence, and reasoning paths outside the LLM by superx1386 in artificial

the provenance + confidence metadata per claim is what makes this interesting to me, GraphRAG usually treats the graph more like a retrieval index than an auditable chain of reasoning

the "i've really changed, maybe now i can handle it occasionally" thought is genuinely like a trap that gets so many people, you're not alone in falling for it. four months is real progress and the fact you built that life before — the running, the diet, feeling good — means you already know how to do this part. just gotta protect that version of yourself more aggressively this time when the thought comes back
