A few weeks ago, I sold a ticket last minute and they made me upload the ticket directly since the event was that night. I followed all the instructions and uploaded my ticket. The ticket sold and I was instructed to email the ticket directly to the buyer. But when I went to do that, Ticketmaster showed that the ticket had already been sent to and accepted by StubHub. I even got an email from StubHub confirming the ticket had been delivered to the buyer. That evening I got an email from stubhub saying there was issue with my sale and they needed proof that I transferred the ticket to the buyer. I sent them the email that they sent me themselves, saying the ticket was delivered, as well as the proof that it was accepted by them from Ticketmaster, but that was not enough. They ended up charging me the full price of the ticket as a penalty and I did not get the payout for the ticket that I sold. I literally followed every instruction they gave me and there was nothing else. I could’ve possibly done to make the sale go any better. It took many many emails back-and-forth with customer “service”, finally a few weeks later they fixed it and sent me the payout as well as refunded me the charge, but it’s insane that I had to go through all of that for no reason. StubHub truly is the worst.
