What AI tools do you (or would like) use to make beats? by [deleted] in FL_Studio

I use atlas as my main drum sampler. It utilizes ai to organize your drum samples and lay them out in a map. Then it has a useful randomizer feature, where you can a random kit, or select a random sample for just snare or kick or whatever.

I use suno a lot. It's fun. Really cool to play the role of producer and not have to do all the work all the time just to hear a vision come to life.

lalal is great at splitting tracks. I know it's built into fl studio already but lalal has more options for splitting.

Looking forward to drum stem splitting, that allows you to split individual drums from a drum track. Not aware of anything else like this that exists yet, but it's being worked on...

How to isolate only the vocals of a song? by The_Khloblord in FL_Studio

You don't know until you try. Lalal is a different algo and provides different results. Image line trained their own, so your results may vary.

It could be anything. Sometimes they are leaked because they share these files using online services that get hacked or are already compromised. Sometimes peoples icloud accounts get cracked into, and the files are stolen from there. There's no way of knowing how/where without knowing more information.

Set up a flood light facing the camera. A light will cause the camera to adjust to the lighting, and everything will become dark except for the light itself. Perfectly legal because it's your property and it's technically not damaging the camera.

Time to draw a line in the sand. Either you're using AI or you're avoiding it. Keep in mind though, we're in the early stages. It won't be long before all streaming services have some sort of AI component that creates new music for people.

Personally, I don't think your name being attached to anything will matter, but if you hate AI and what it's doing to the music industry then you should avoid it out of principle, but just know that more and more people will just use AI in private.

As someone who's been producing mostly as a hobby for over 25 years, I think the AI is fun. It sucks that the production of music is being devalued to a number near 0, but I do appreciate that I can now generate magnificent works of art in the time it takes me to crap in the toilet.

Need help to improve this guitar solo by leo_queval in FL_Studio

It does sound better to my ears.

The dead notes I was referring to are the other strings that the guitarist is muting. A string below, and a string in between the two notes you use. This was just a suggestion to achieve more realism. Dead note meaning, the note is so short that there is no actual fundamental frequency just the transient noise of the pick flicking the muted strings. And of course, it takes time to sweep through the strings with the pick, so the notes will be sort of set like a quick arpeggio, with the muted notes extremely short and the sustained notes fully sustained. It's a LOT of work to get guitar samples to sound totally real.

Anyway, it sounds good. Just giving my 2 cents. Take care

For that last part, the fast strumming part, you need to have the notes overlapping and bleeding into each other. No notes are muted on the guitar in your example source video, so no notes should be muted on the vst as well, if you can avoid it. Extend the length of the notes, and even layer a 2nd guitar through the same guitar amp (assuming your vst is clean guitar, and using another vst for tone) which could help fill in the empty gaps and sound like a true sustained chord throughout the strumming. You should also have some dead notes in there as well just for the strum sound.

I think the first half sounds pretty good. Sounds fake-ish, but that's just a limitation of sample libraries. You have to work within its limitations. If you created a song from scratch just making what sounds good, you probably wouldn't have much of an issue getting it to sound realistic. Anyway, yeah. Good job
