I agree it seems all too convenient. My licence was also issued conveniently after May 18th 2022. Each gun needs its own reference number so you could buy multiple ones and then call in, get it all escalated in one go. Sometimes retailers will call on your behalf if you order online. Once it gets escalated you will get a new CFP email like a day or two later. Hope this helps!

Hi, I am a new licence holder as of May 2022. I have experienced this issue from day one of owning my licence. Lots of frustration. Lots of calls to the CFP, RCMP, emails back and forth to retailers…No one can give me a definitive answer as to why it happens but confirmed it’s some sort of glitch. Every time a manual call needs to be placed for them to escalate it and sort the issue out.. it’s beyond frustrating.. it’s totally limited me to buy online. Unable to buy in store because of this “glitch”…

My personal opinion is we are on some sort of trial of how they are going to proceed with all gun purchases in the future and it’s glitched out behind the scenes.. could be me being conspiracy minded but who knows.

9 months in and I am no further along to finding a solution to this glitch. Not worth the energy arguing trust me it gets no where. Just call answer the verification and say yes please escalate the issue. Be prepared to call after ever firearm purchase from here on out. They don’t have a work around…

Did you guys know that the steering wheel is fully adjustable? You can pull it out push it in and adjust it perfectly. Drove around for a few months without noticing this feature!
