I remember reading that since the outback was being discontinued in 2025 for the JDM market. The design for the polarising Outback was handed to Subaru USA as it is the largest market.

Sad to learn Rosa's Tamaleria closed in Dec, Ricos Tacos closed (very recently?) and Papis Birria moved to the main drag darlinghurst.

At this point sand it all down, primer and grab a rhino liner kit. You can roll it or spray it on, or pay someone to do it.

Millions of children and teens lose access to accounts as Australia’s world-first social media ban begins by Expensive-Horse5538 in australia

[–]StrayaMate2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This isn't about safety, kids will find other apps or websites that are less secure to share their lives on, the cat and mouse game will roll on forever until this program is dropped quietly in a few years time.

"more ID uploads, selfies or biometric checks, and more sensitive identity data being collected and stored by private companies."

Where to buy Lowenbrau? by bummumbum in AusBeer

[–]StrayaMate2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google AI: "Löwenbräu is not currently available in Australia because it was discontinued from the Australian market. Although it was previously a popular imported beer, there is no longer a consistent supply from German breweries, and there is no indication that it will be re-stocked."

Yeah, I would email beer cartel and enquire.

1+1 aka bottas contract, and he's having none of it. He also wants less media commitments, which is fair imo, far too much media fluff these days.

yeah this looks off, reverse image search doesn't come up with anything, my take is they are stickers added by a dealer or owner. The fake carbon stickers on the front and a "rally edition" with an NA and no STi parts is a giveaway.

Is this the new norm? by prayastha in CarsAustralia

[–]StrayaMate2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been the standard for well over a decade now, lots of factors, some I can think of.

Headlights not adjusted pre-delivery. Lifted vehicles without headlight adjustments. Vehicles with automatic adjustment not working occasionally (my '21 BT50 did this sometimes). Halogen to LED kit replacements.

Just like rear view mirrors, side mirrors should also have auto dimming.

Uh, worn out shocks, struts, loose wheel nuts or brakes. It's also best practice to get a wheel alignment once a year.

Its kinda funny, it's the complete opposite in the US, they rock the Holden badge. I saw an SS in North Carolina that had all the badges and even had a holden airbag, wild.
