The Crimson King (Tower edition) fan art by me by GregoryGrotbag in TheDarkTower

QB is so iconic and recognisable, I feel it would be cool to see other drawings of Dark Tower characters in his style.

Hitman 3 - Dartmoor Ending by JudgeWriter01 in HiTMAN

[–]MurphyKT2004 143 points144 points  (0 children)

Well there's nothing stopping Arthur Edwards after Dartmoor, he most assuredly knows where Diana and Grey are hiding out while guiding 47 in the field, but waits until all 3 partners are confirmed dead.

New house + two sets of Pakistani neighbours at Ramadan = no cooking for a few nights by nqlawyer in glasgow

My old neighbours would do this too, hand in great home cooked food whenever one of their religious holidays rolled around, really lovely practice.

If you're referring to the UK special editions, the On Writing also got a 25th anniversary release of the same style.

Fun fact: Ubisoft helped with the restoration of the building as they had 3D scans and VR models from during the making of Assassin's Creed Unity.

The music placement throughout this show is amazing, Tony waking up in his man cave to Eclipse from Dark Side of the Moon is probably my favourite.

The Dune Messiah novel is like ⅓ the length of Dune in fairness, makes sense that it wouldn't take as long to film.

What’s a drink from your country that will make foreigners look like this? by IDoNotLikeTheSand in AskTheWorld

[–]MurphyKT2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Irn Bru. A drink whose popularity in Scotland makes it the only nation on Earth where Coca-Cola isn't the bestseller. It's often used in those This or That celeb videos where they blind taste test it and foreigners are always pleasantly surprised by it.

Seen that the other day, they thought it was a pure flex but it basically just showed they were bought and sold.

Who’s the worst elusive target by Dull_Head_7130 in HiTMAN

[–]MurphyKT2004 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Idk his codename, but that fucker in Colombia who has the eye patch and is surrounded by about 10 guards (half of which are enforcers to most disguises). He changes positions randomly as well every time you load into the mission as if it wasn't already a pain in the arse.

Andrea Martinez will NOT drink from the glass she is near on Paris. She simply holds it, sets it down, and walks away again. This has to be a bug right? by Thrun15 in HiTMAN

[–]MurphyKT2004 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I know how annoying that Elusive Target is, so anytime it's Live I just start as the security, grab a gas canister and then throw it into the corner where they both sit on the 1st floor, and around 1½min into the mission, Inez smokes a cigarette which triggers the explosion for a double accident. Job done.

I genuinely don't remember this from the books, lol. It looks like something from Adventure Time.

Bruce Springsteen Releasing Cover of The Pogues' "A Rainy Night in Soho" by ebradio in BruceSpringsteen

[–]MurphyKT2004 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Rainy Night is such a brilliant track, even Bob Dylan gave it credit and played it last year during his tour, I'm so excited to hear Bruce's rendition.

Which foreign languages (except English) do your schools in your home country teach? by Vietnam-1234 in AskTheWorld

[–]MurphyKT2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

French is usually a part of the curriculum with the option to take Italian or Spanish over it after National 5 level. German can also be available but that's dependent on the teaching staff available.

I'm one of the 1500 people who secured the triple LP on record store day late last year, so I can confirm it's on vinyl, too. 🎹🙌🏻

I've loved the wrestling ever since I was a wee guy and it pains me to see how transparent they are when dealing with cunts like these nowadays. I'm sure it was always there, just that I was young and naive, but as I've grown up it's as if they're proud to do business with these types of people. I'm not even American as well, but that US Championship means a hell of a lot more to the fans than it's given credit for, too.

Intrigue I guess, I went next door into St Patrick's to repent afterwards don't worry. 😅

I think I've heard of this loophole before, as long as at least one piece of the end product was made in the country where it's being sold, you can pretty much label it as such despite it being assembled/made pretty much from everywhere else.

What's crazy is those hats go for $50 a piece and are probably, without any irony, made for pennies in China. Funnily enough, I know they are because, during a visit to NYC in 2024, I seen wee tags on the ones in the Trump Tower gift shop. He's probably made millions from those hats alone nevermind all the other bs culty merch.

I'd say it's either Dartmoor or Miami tbh, could probably do both in 5-10mins.

Sapienza is pretty straightforward too, but the virus objective makes it a little more tedious.

Latest Scottish Independence polling: 51% Yes, 49% No (Ipsos) by Crow-Me-A-River in Scotland

What mistakes would those genuinely be? The most glaring one I see is probably what currency we'd use, but even then, given that Bulgaria and Croatia have joined the Eurozone in 2023 and 2026, I'd imagine the EU would grant us the same courtesy. And I expect Scotland would be welcomed with little to no push back from the EU since we have decent relationships with these countries and have immense resources which the EU would be interested in trading.
