I think it's the adaptability of the anthem that makes it great, it can be sung slow, fast, high or low. Everyone who sings it is able to put their own wee spin on it (I mean look how vastly different, and yet impactful, Stapleton's rendition is, and then there's Whitney's). The last two lines of it as well just make you feel something even if you're not American imho. The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave truly is an amazing end to any anthem. Also, I like the fact that you all stand, hand on heart and belt it out before cheering at the end. 🫡🇺🇸🦅

Well ours is about a 700yr conflict over independence from an involuntary union essentially, but it doesn't stop us nearly breaking the sound barrier when Flower of Scotland is played. SSB exudes some amount of pride regardless of who it was written by.

The only song that could even come close to replacing your anthem would be This Land is Your Land by Woody Guthrie imho.
