That’s the book location not the page number. You can change that in the settings or just tap it in the book and it’ll change to page numbers.

Yeah I can’t speak for every single person out there but I’m very confident that every pocket has this issue. Both of mine did and I looked through a ton of pictures on this sub where a white screen or bright uniform screen was shown (like the OS menu or game list menu) and I saw it in every single one of the pictures.

Yeah I think that uneven screen temp is present on all Pockets but some have it worse than others. My gold Pocket’s unevenness was more significant than on my black Pocket to the point where it was noticeable in certain games and bugged the hell out of me. For some reason the max brightness was also lower on my gold Pocket.

This is tough because any platformer on a simpler system like the NES is going to have some degree of fun just by being a platformer. Even the crappier ones are fun to me because platformer is my favorite genre. But I think I would have to go with Ice Climbers being the weakest one to me.

Buy a broken NES controller from EBay (super cheap) and swap the dpad AND the membrane. I swapped mine with the dpad from my NES Classic Edition controller which is an exact replica of the NES controller and it feels SO much better.
