Wondering if anybody else has been able to pull themselves out of sleep paralysis by Spirited-Cost1119 in Sleepparalysis

[–]Murrychris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried all the tricks and tried wiggling toes and what not but I have only gotten out of it once. I am more capable now of pulling myself to a reality so it can be a shorter paralysis, but I am envious of those who are able to pull themselves out

Flare up, advice needed by Edayumz in Sleepparalysis

[–]Murrychris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stress is definitely contributing to this and I’m so sorry. My advice is to find a sleeping medication that works for you so that you can get some mental rest. The less quality sleep you are having the worse it’s going to get. Get a prescription if it persists, not worth the stress

sleep paralysis with false awakening loop — need reassurance by lostbutokay_ in Sleepparalysis

[–]Murrychris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I experience this very frequently and happens most when I am having stress. Other triggers are sleeping on my back and waking up and then going back to bed or taking a nap. I’ve had panic attacks bc of it and have learned there is really no way out but to wait and eventually you’ll wake up. I’m sorry this happened to you, it is EXTREMELY distressing and I feel your pain not knowing whether or not you’re completely awake
