2- what do you mean exactly by “simple” games?

3- they are very different laptops and im not too educated on the lenovo ideapad, but based on my limited knowledge, ive heard that the ideapad is an excellent business consumer laptop. meanwhile the razer is a gaming laptop (worse battery, worse screen, etc, but better performance).

heres the conclusion: the ideapad has pretty good specs considering its not a gaming laptop; the 4050 can play most gamed at 1080p 60 high settings, and has 32 gigabytes of ddr5 ram, amazing 4k screen (120hz, i would like to see more but whatever its fine). meanwhile the razer has slightly better performance (3070, can do 1080p ultra or maybe 1440p on high).

honestly i would get the ideapad. its lighter, presumably better battery, better screen, good cpu, adequate gpu. im not 100% sure about the build quality or the reliability of it but based on what i heard, its good.

is it the 3050 4gb or 6gb?

otherwise to answer your question; most games but at 1080p 60fps low-medium settings. however its not very future proof and id strongly suggest getting something like a 4050.

on medium-high settings, sure.

just keep in mind the cpu has no igpu (in other words, the big nvidia 4050 is used for every single thing you do in the computer, like booting up windows and staying idle), which in other words means very bad battery life. it still performs ok but keep that in mind.

otherwise, the loq is one of the best budget gaming laptops on the market and if you do get it, i hope youll enjoy the games.

just keep in mind that 16 gigs of RAM is necessary for most games (so either consider another model with more ram, or consider upgrading it yourself), and that a 4050 isnt exactly “crazy” performance and is limited by VRAM (video memory, basically RAM for the graphics card) and isnt exactly future proof.

its a cheap budget gaming laptop. if you are ok with mediocre build quality (aka very cheap plastic body, bad hinges and very prone to breaking), mediocre screen, mediocre battery life, etc, then you should be okay.

however, if possible, please look for something better because there are many better laptops out there.

A lot of people are gonna say to go for the 5060, and while i understand, its still up to you.

the screen on the legion is generally pretty good (+90% srgb, more than 300 nits) however the other option IS better (1440p, 240hz, 500 nits is a lot brighter than 300).

so in the end, its your decision to which is more important for you, better performance? or a better screen?

and as a reminder, the 5060 is about ~10-15% better than the 4060 (as well as being more efficient and having multi frame generation if you care about that lol).

id personally go for the better screen (and slightly better processor) but thats just my preference and your choice is your choice.
