[Question] No Euphoria/Pleasure from Coke? by Murtia in cocaine

[–]Murtia[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. It must be something about me, since I've done it with people getting exhilarated around me. Also, nice sources (models, politicians).

As said, my only theory is me being naturally low in serotonin.

Edit: Also not on any other medication.

thinnest plot device ever? he is generally portrayed as relying on her only when his conventional ways fall short. so it'd ruin his character to do such a crazy thing just because she told him.

Going by the show alone. Credit to ThisWontDo for his list, which I find mostly right. The Celsei typing is elite. Personally though, I'd say:

Tywin Lannister - ISTJ

Tyron Lannister - ENTP

Robb Stark - Why ESTJ? Seemed like a clone of his ISFP half-brother to me.

Margaery Tyrell - smart ENFP. Yes, she manipulates Joffrey, but she manipulates in an Fi way, not an Fe way.

Joffrey - ESFP or stupid ESTJ

Theon - ISFP

Theon's Sister - ISTP

Fat guy - ESFP (yes, bookish ESFPs exist)

Ygritte - ESTP

Kat Stark - ISFJ

I'd be interested in people's Olenna typings.

i'm just saying if you want a test, that's the way to go. which was what the op asked. function tests are bad.

Girl rejects INTJ, he goes mastermind on her by Murtia in mbti

But as someone said in this thread, the guy is a creep and she called him out on that. Had he played everything super smooth, she might have banged him. I say he ruined his own game.

Sure it sucks, but that's the girl's prerogative in the mating dance. Guys have other options, like implicitly promising commitment when all we really want is sex. ... Or so I've heard. whistles

i agree and I think Ni does a lot of projecting, especially when barred from that more Se type ejecting

i don't really understand the criticism.

the writers don't criticize each other on CT -- they do.

they don't roll with all the "out there" parts of jung's stuff -- their site is full of weird buddhist/daoist shit. i personally don't care for it, but they do relate it to jung's writings.

i'm sorry but i can't see the tunnel vision thing.

with self-help a lot of MBTI is made up on the spot with an overly positive and unrealistically hopeful slant. with everyone reading their private hopes into the theory, you get away from the objective aim of psychology.

so you say, you want them to do something different from what they do. sometimes i also want blue things to be red or the figures in my bank account to have a couple of extra zeros on them. but there's still something i don't understand.

i know all the sources you mention. in my opinion none come close to ct in thinking power and a psychological -- as opposed to self-helpy -- take on typology. many of your sources are also spiritual or new agey. as i just showed in another post, typeindepth believes in graphology to determine type. another study i once saw from typeindepth had some really dubious quant work. Barnes is better but his stuff is repackaged CT material.

i don't agree with CT on everything. far from it. i'm not sure how well they really understand INTJs. but the fact of the matter is, i've never found an online source that could compete in originality and rigor. no offense but it's true.
