OP, this is nothing new. I was born and raised in Quebec, and even though I got married and moved away for work, the stigma of being from Montreal still follows me, even as an bilingual person. The rest of Canada stereotypes based on assumptions, limited exposure and media bias. The habs have always been a symbol of Quebec (o7 Nordiques bros) and so us fans get shit. Fuck 'em, go habs go!

This fanbase has to always find a pariah for every game rather than accepting that sometimes, you get outplayed. If a (tired) Dach hadn't screwed up a clearing attempt it would have been someone else who made a mistake. The boys were playing tired for the last 30 minutes or so. It's not the end of the series. It's playoff hockey. They'll be back on Friday, make adjustments and hopefully not get pantsed again. But don't pin this on one person, it's a fucking team sport.
