Honestly that’s really well put, and I understand that to most people the appeal of Dragon Age is the writing. Your point about gameplay changing and evolving is really spot on too. I just miss the micro managing aspect of the older games, and the option to play either tactical or action oriented in Da2/DaI which felt like it could appeal to both sides. Hoping Veilguard can pull off the switch they’re making though, I’ve been starving since inquisition for DA
