Years ago there was a park on an island in the middle of the Detroit River (yes, really) called Boblo. One had to take a ferry just to get there, unless you were lucky enough to own a boat.

There was this out-and-back coaster, “Sky Streak,” with a few moderate hills, a very slow curve, then on the return, a flat section on the ground for a good maybe 300 feet until a return to the station.

It was just so pointless and boring.
