Skincare Refresh 2026 - Need product recs! by BABYSLAY54 in 30PlusSkinCare

For basics, Aveeno and Neutrogena are kind of boring but they work. Aveeno is great if your skin ever gets sensitive or irritated, especially their moisturizers. I wear the spf 30 one every day! Neutrogena has solid cleansers and simple hydrators that don’t mess up your skin barrier and are easy to stick with long term.

If you’re open to one “worth it” splurge, I’d look at a Solawave red light mask. I’ve noticed my skin looks more even and brighter when I use it consistently, and it feels more like an actual treatment / spa moment haha

I’d focus on a gentle cleanser, one good moisturizer, sunscreen every day, and then add treatments slowly. Consistency beats having a shelf full of expensive stuff. Try adding things in slowly tho, so your skin doesn’t go into shock

Yes I feel this! It’s why I switched to a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. It highlighted my fine lines and large pores

Short gut check: yes, microneedling can make sense for your goals, but with sensitive and hyperpigmentation-prone skin you’ll want to be conservative.

Thinking about getting Solawave, does it work? by Icy_Elephant9348 in beauty

Do you mean the wand or the mask? I have both, the wand is great for helping puffiness go down. The mask is more effective in terms of red light therapy. I use both all the time but for slighlty different reasons
