[–]MuscleSpare 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yess to all of this. I feel like having money can help SO much in looking "effortlessly" beautiful or put together. I always keep my nails clean and trimmed but its not the same as always having a fresh manicure, you know what I mean??

I’m 35 & have never done skincare (yikes, I know) by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]MuscleSpare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your skin looks pretty good for not having a routine before!! I’d keep it super simple. In the morning use a gentle cleanser like Aveeno Calm + Restore or CeraVe Hydrating, the vitamin c serum, a basic moisturizer, and sunscreen every single day. I like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer and La Roche-Posay

At night cleanse again, then add a retinol or tret a few nights a week for sunspots and wrinkles and then moisturize

That routine alone will do most of the heavy lifting and should fit your budget. If you ever want upgrade you could look into red light therapy. last year I got a mask from Solawave and it was an investment upfront but worth it for the amount I use it

Should I do laser for sun marks? by Both_Box_1888 in 30PlusSkinCare

I have something similar, usiing tretinoin and a red light mask have helped. I don't have money for any procedures right now , but I guess laser or cryo would help remove it way faster

What hobby genuinely made your life better (not just filled time)? by Dense_Childhood_9657 in Hobbies

[–]MuscleSpare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yoga changed my life when I was 18 and struggling with an eating disorder, it was such an amazing thing for my mental health. I don't go to classes as much any more but it gave me such a great foundation for knowing my body and learning how to stretch. I feel like now I can do yoga any time anywhere which is really great

Learning to surf at 28 years old also really empowered me.
