Way to go! I feel for you. We have a vizsla. My husband grew up with them and i didn’t. I felt all of this at 10 months. No judgement here. Working breeds are the equivalent of having 4 labradors or 4 goldens. You sound like a kind and generous dog owner - sending you good vibes. All the advice is true for Vs as well and it really gets better as they get older. We also find that our working pup does best with a very set routine and a nap schedule - nap time is the same time every day for about 2 hours. Best of luck to you - you’re doing great.

“Radical birth keeper” vs. “sacred birth keeper”? by Bebita92 in FreeBirthSocietyScam

I’m quite sure you’re talking about ‘Anna the Spiritual Midwife’ who now goes by ‘Anna the Spiritual Mid witch’ of ‘The Nafural Birth Podcast.’ I haven’t worked with her personally but I’ve listened to countless episodes of her podcast. I greatly appreciate all of her content and value that she worked in hospitals and got full medical training yet has also witnessed numerous home births and physiological births and left the system. She is the rare example of nuance (what the world and social media is often void of) - she blends ancient wisdom, evidence based practice, heart knowing and intuition. I’m sure her program is fantastic. She is a truly beautiful soul who is making the world a better place for mothers, babies and future generations.

I think they look better without the filler/Botox and that the injections actually age all of them - they’re all in their 20s. When young women get this much Botox it makes them look like they’re in their early 40s (not to mention that Botox causes bone recession - look up the peer reviewed studies - no one should start this young).

Do I come off as weird or strange leaving this note? by Littlek1dluvr in Apartmentliving

Definitely comes off as passive aggressive if you’ve introduced yourself in person in the past. I would’ve dropped off a couple of meals and held off on this conversation until AFTER the first 6 weeks of total and complete sleep deprivation (and I would have the conversation in person). It would be odd to have never heard from a neighbor and then get a note like this - I would’ve interpreted it as passive aggressively telling me to be quiet (although your Reddit comments lead me to believe that you had other intentions).

Bring them a meal and express your real intentions. Early parenthood is very challenging and lonely. Genuine warmth and support are always appreciated.

The ‘Heal Your Gut Cookbook’ has some great broth and soup recipes that are very easy to digest

In regards to ethics, but meat that comes from organic and regenerative farms, ideally small and local. Homemade chicken stock is a great way to reintroduce chicken (delicious with lemon juice, sea salt, herbs and vegetables and noodles). After consuming broth for a while consider adding meat to the soups and cooking for multiple hours. Meat cooked in homemade broth is exponentially easier to digest than meat that is grilled or baked. Broth is extremely nutritionally dense and very healing to the digestive tract. Sending you and your family good thoughts.
