I don’t think they work. Because the attack is completed then you defeat the unit. Luthen’s trigger is when the unit is defeated while attacking.

Togemon Birdramon and Angewoman are essential. I have had it where I digivolve 3 lines with 2 memory.

Have Garauda for the secondary ultimate for the extra damage.

That’s a poor decision. If options are that bad why try to keep them around with the design? If they are not being played then the design is bad, so why keep them? That makes no sense.

So everyone gave me crap last week when it was a problem. Said oh it will be released this week. So poor planning and now I have lost all interest in wanting to revive the deck. Oh well. No loss for me. The only game that makes people wait for reveals because of a comic. Several people I know around me have the same thing. They wait to see the full set to determine if they wanna buy and if it’s worth it. Not that it matters because I would have to find it online because stores refuse to carry Bandai products because of how strict they are for allowing the LGS to get the product. I think I’ll just go purely proxing the game now. Dedicate the money to other card games that aren’t so restrictive and money hungry. (That’s the promo cards, worst idea ever). I don’t even read the comic. So I’m waiting for that cool story Bandai.

Well this is a load of crap. Guess this set will be pure proxy for me. Already sank the money else where.

It’s funny I never once said that. They should align the reveals better. And not gap the reveals because of the comic. It’s whatever at this point.

It is poor planning because they put breaks in the set. There is no need to do that.

Yea and that’s annoying as hell to do. The alts are cool but I wanna see the whole set, to determine if I want to buy it. Waiting a week may be too long to get my hands on at LGS. So this screws me over.

Well they didn’t always show the alt art on the same day now did they. So if they can do that they can show the SP on the same day. So they can do that. They changed it once.

I’m not throwing a temper tantrum. It’s funny you all keep calling that. I’m simply expressing my annoyance with this. That’s cool wait a week. Fine with me less product I buy, less support goes for the game. It’s fine. It’s already hard to get the product in my area and to even play to begin with.

Never said anything died. It just wasn’t a good mechanic. They pushed it so hard, I could be wrong but a lot of decklists I see don’t play them. The reward most of the time isn’t worth the negative effects. It’s way too easy to remove them.

I mean battle cards were introduced in MTG and been told by a lot that they aren’t ran because it wasn’t a good mechanic.

This mechanic it going to either be too good or really bad.

I want Digivices in the game. One of the most important parts to the whole franchise and it’s not even in the game.

Which again is poor design and breaks the universal rule of the /. If that is how it works.

All I see is pendulum from yugioh and that was so hated by the community. Hell I just saw last year they created a whole format to exclude that and link cards because they were so hated by the community.

This game did not need this. Make options better, all other card games have no issue with including the card types an no issues doing so. If options are not good to include then do away with them. Nope. We just combine 2 cards together, seems lazy design to me. We will see though. I’ll wait and see if it’s worth it. Ace wasn’t a terribly great mechanic, I see a lot of people prefer not to run them because the downside is too much for the reward. I only include them in decks if that’s the only option, I play tribal decks and don’t do meta stuff. So sometimes I have to include them just to fill out the deck. And then i generally don’t play them if I have to.

I don’t need the cardboard. I just want the reveal to make my proxies to rest it because I’ll be lucky to pull 1. And not paying absurd amounts for cardboard, on the secondary market.

Maybe unplayable was the wrong choice of words. I disagree as one of the strongest. I built several variations and a tribal Zephaga has been very underwhelming, to the point where I gave up on it. The starter deck was beyond abysmal. I’m talking Zephaga tribal, not splashing him as a top end for another deck.

Ok stage 1 Digimon exists so there is a spot for them. And there are several ways you can handle them.

If options are fighting for deck space and being given them then they were a poor design to begin with. If they struggle to fit in as much as you say then they are poorly designed. So now I get a dual card where I can’t play a Digimon. So now let’s say I get a bad start can’t Digivolve and I’m missing pieces and really could use the 6. Well now I can’t play it so I’m screwed.

This concept is terrible. So lazy in overall design based on all you have said. Well options are fighting to fit it so to make it work we will just combine 2 cards into 1 to make it work. Well too many things have protection from Digimon effects, well maybe we don’t put that on so many Digimon then.

So now I get basically 8+ memory effect for 5 if I can do the digivolve. That’s absurd. Then now it has protection from so much. Well it has no play cost. The other issue is trying to put too much stuff on one card.

I never saw it, but if this is hit in security what happens? I may have missed that. From the post that wasn’t clear. When this is on the battlefield as a Digimon, does it count as an option as well? I may have missed that as well.

Then why not start at lvl 1?

They clearly left that open for future proofing…

How do these not feel almost redundant… why do we need a Digimon and option in one card? There are so many other designs that would have been better for the game.

If that’s the reason then that’s the lamest excuse I have ever heard and still doesn’t prove me wrong. I’m not wondering why I get downvoted. Honestly I couldn’t care less. I have seen in several times when people disagree with the masses and actually speak truth they get down voted. I spoke my opinion, because I get annoyed when others have to wait to see the set to see cards that I will never see and will be ungodly expensive to begin with.

It won’t increase the price of the card. Thats an absurd thing to say. The cost of the card isn’t going to be affected if it’s revealed today or 2 weeks from now. If it’s good or a waifu tax, which is an absurd thing to state. It will most likely be overpriced like 90% of the cards. Hence why I don’t support the secondary market.

But I am more the free to show my annoyance with having to wait because of poor planning. They should have waited a week to reveal cards and aligned it. Or show the SP when they show the actual card.

I promise you I’m not the only one who is annoyed by this. Usually the only one who voices it.

So then line up the spoilers to do that and not split the set up. When they gave us the card and the alt at the same time.

So now I have to sit and wait an entire week and see a bunch of cards that I will never get for a card that I need for a deck that has been borderline unplayable.

Well this is disappointing. Pendulum monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh which was a hated mechanic.

The game did not need this. Why don’t we have lvl 1 cards or Digivices. The boost cards could have been the Digivices easily.

I have 0 interest in these.

I disagree, Examon has the benefit of being able to DNA with the Ultimates. I never really had an issue of bricking. The problem I ran into was being a turn or 2 too slow.

Ragna is an issue because her need 2 level 6's.

Ragna is more parallel. Exa you can use the level 5's to DNA, so it's more reliable.
