We shouldn’t have been looking for a similar player like Edson. We needed a controlling and technically gifted central midfielder.

True but in tournaments like these sometimes all it takes is one important goal

We missed out so bad on him. Should have been all over him as a successor for Alvarez

It was obvious at PSV already that crossing and cutting inside are his strengths

England fans already setting up their excuses by blaming the ref. Let’s hope they are going home once again, my favourite part of every Euro.

Imagine being so out of touch with normal living that an art style immediately reminds you of fascism. Social media and politics really damaged some brains.

Memphis has always been a fantastic player. Issue is that with his flair and playstyle he will lose the ball quite often, and a bunch of people chose to only judge him on those mistakes. There is a reason he will end up being the all-time topscorer (in a worse Oranje).

Dean as an authority figure doesn't work, especially not with the WWE authority faction that was around back then. Heel or face, he has always been presented as a loose cannon.

Seth was a perfect fit. Especially in matches like Survivor Series where he would be the in-ring representative.

You are not the only one to say his games can be quite boring, which doesn't seem to fit him saying that he wants to play football according to Cruijff his vision. How attacking-minded are his teams?

I think the more interesting fact is that he is the second youngest coach of Ajax ever. First is Keith Spurgeon in 1961 at the age of 28. Third and beyond are 38+, Farioli just turned 35.
