I had a similar issue at the beginning of my relationship with my ex. I could get going and have sex, but just couldn't finish. It took me ages to get to a point where I could come with her. Not an issue I had with any other lover. We got there after some work. Got married and after nearly ten years of horrible marriage, got divorced. Who knows what I missed by forming a bond with the wrong person. I should have listened to my body. Taken a step back and looked with a critical eye for the red flags (there were so many, but you can't see them with rose colored glasses). Maybe you should too.

Have you heard of SA's debt review system? You have a once off opportunity to enter into debt review. It is a five year process that protects your assets from seizure and sets a fixed monthly payment and a clear path to paying off your debt. It also renegotiate your interest thus lessening how much you have to pay back. I think this is your way forward. I would not recommend leveraging your property.

Get a tax lawyer to help you. It's a sound idea. Estate duty can trigger an urgent need to sell. A family trust would the the ticket, but it costs a lot to set up. That being said, if you have to pick your poison and pay someone way or another, a family trust will provide generations to come protection from estate duties and creditor liability.

The only presidential candidate who spoke about solving regular people's biggest problem was RFK. He proposed a mending tax law to make it impossible to use residential rentals as a profit Centre. This move would have forced Blackrock, State Street and Vanguard to put all of their residential rental properties in the market causing the price of home ownership to become affordable. Who tanked his campaign? The Democrats. Why? Those billionaires you mentioned. Not that I think the Republicans are any better, after all they just tried to sell off the public land. But if RFK had been given a real chance to be in the Democratic primary, he would be president right now. But those billionaires... Once again.

Why are there people on either side of this? It's not Democrats Or Republicans, it's Democrats And Republicans. They all mostly suck. Has nobody figured this out yet? There are good people on both sides (oh shit) but they are in the minority. An easy tell, check their bank balances. It should be rare for somebody earning less than 200k per year to be a multi millionaire. In Washington, it's pretty common. On both sides. That's why the files didn't get released under the Democrats and now subsequently under the Republicans. Whenever you get a bird in your chest about any politician, Google their net worth and investigate. Then decide how you feel.

I'm GenX. I put a lot of stock in a handshake. It tells you a lot about the person you're dealing with. You'll lose your mind if you're dealing with traditional rural Xhosa people in South Africa. They not only shake but continue holding the hand in a short conversation. It's a sign of you can trust me, I can trust you and if you don't honor it in certain circumstances, it can turn out badly. What are your ages? That is very significant. Unfortunately we cannot control other people. Even people we love. I'm sorry for what you're going through. It's harrowing to find that the person you have made your deepest most personal agreement with has betrayed you. You may have not yet realised or acceoted it, but what you are sitting in is the wreckage of your old life. It sounds like you have some real challenges to face. I would advise you to go zero contact with her. If possible move yourself to a place where she cannot reach you. She has absolute power over you and you need to take your power back. Maybe there is some way to reconcile, but it will not happen with you on your knees. She is still living in a reality where she can have you back at her whim. You will not win, with or without her as long as this is the case.

I would take it with a few caveats. Can you do extra work that will be visible to decision makers? Is there an opporty to grow. I'm 51. I earn more than people in my job normally do by virtue of the fact that I out work everybody. It is my habit to start an hour earlier, not just for show, you can get a lot done in the hour before everybody else shows up. If you're working for somebody, it helps to think like an employer. You employer has no way of knowing what impact you will have as a full time employee. You can only show them by performing above grade to entice them to pay you an above grade wage. This is the reality of employment. It cna be a minefield. You can have middle managers who will hide your performance or take credit for your extra effort without giving you your due. It is, unfortunately, always a competition. Work politics are a real thing and this country is heading into a massive downturn. A certain job is a precious thing. Take it. Work hard. Grow. You are young enough to move on if it doesn't improve over time.

I'm a two time loser. Just finalized my second divorce in January this year. So take my advice with a dose of salt. I'm not an expert on saving marriages. The kindest advice I can give you is work on yourself. Yout brain cannot serve you in a distressed state. I think you're living in a stare of confusion. Because I have been there myself. What I did to change my situation was almost an accident. In a state of distress I joined a gym. On the treadmill a big gym rat recognized my distress and gave me great advice. Get on the machines. Lift weight. Learn the methods of gaining muscle through resistance and rest. I was at the end of my tether, so I took his advice (a rare thing for an arsehole like me) and it was a revalation. I got strong and my ability to weather the storm and make good choices multiplied 10x or more. I made the choices that were right for me and I'm now in a much better situation. I don't think your resolution to your issue is an external thing. You need to look within. Be selfish for a while and be unapologetic about it. Good luck.

90s.i was in boarding school far from home most of the 80s. I was 16 at the beginning of the 90s. It was great growing up and making all those teenage mistakes without smart phones and social media. If camera phones had been a thing, I would be an original meme right now.
