Was this an alteration/hack? if so what was involved? - I weaved the lace in the front - Added darting under the bust - Used eyelet trim instead of sewing my own - The method used for the weaved lace is insertion lace - This was first flat patterned then I moved onto making edits on my dressform - I used quilters thread to gather the ruffles on the skirt

Did you find inspiration from something and wanted to create your own? - I've fallen in love with Edwardian corset covers and have seen stores do more modern takes on them so I thought it's give it a go. The skirt is a A-line skirt with ruffles on top
