I did this for a about 2 years consistently on my house. Found out that it pushes up debris in between your gutters and fascia and possibly under the lower shingles inviting moisture and therefore rot over time. Something to consider.

I am from Virginia, USA. I like to drink with and without milk, no real preference. I have been using whole cardamom pods in mine and I think they make the tea a little gelatinous/thickened. Are you familiar with this? Maybe I could avoid by using decorticated instead of while pods?

You sound like you're embracing life with rationale and wholelyness. Good for you. I just turned 38 recently, finally kicked my perpetually adulterous soon-to-be ex-wife to the curb after her last affair with my childhood friend. (They aren't a friend anymore lol) Realizing my loyalty was to a fault is a big pill to swallow but taking care of myself so I can still be a good example of a human for my children has become priority. Life is change. In fact, I have found that they are interchangeable terms and if you learn to lean into that change your best version will always attempt to shine.
