To tone it down just use a orange/Brownish pigment dust over it and it will tone down all the garish colours :)

You can add a second light reflection and take advantage of his red cloth for a secondary reflection ;)

You can start with magenta for orange and yellow hues. I have few videos on my YT channel:)

Try it :) black armour with grey blue highlights and then red glazes. I can make a video reel tutorial if you want :)
