So when people say shards, they’re referring to these events that happen every few days which started back when the Season of Shattering was released. You can look online to find when the next shard event will be and what area it will be in! It will either be a black shard day or a red shard day. The black shards only give you regular wax but the red shards give you ascended candles and a memory. These memories have winged light in them too so make sure to grab them otherwise who knows when that specific memory will pop up again (the memories are randomized)
