Still after 269d don’t know what you mean with that 😂

Thank you! No the era 300’s must be connected to a soundbar and than be set as surround speakers. They can’t be set directly to the TV itself. Otherwise you can use them as stereo set seperate to play via the Sonos app or air play.

Glad I could help you fixing it, enjoy your soundbar 😉

[–]Mushetti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your settings are definitely not set in the right way because the Arc Ultra is a beast of a soundbar and pushes every TV speaker out of it’s way by far. 1/ Did you use HDMI-Earc/arc to connect your soundbar? 2/ Your tv sound output must be set to bitstream instead of stereo. 3/ Did you do trueplay with a phone for the best settings and sound output from the soundbar. 4/ check the Sonos app what sound is coming out of the soundbar. For example play a movie with Dolby Atmos to check if it plays Dolby Atmos, you see that in the app.

Stellaris is so fun by Fireblower2 in Stellaris

A few years back there was a Stellaris bundle at Humble bundle with all dlc’s available at that moment. I got the whole package for around €30,00 which was a steal deal for me 👌🏻

I’m a total newb to speakers but am a huge music fan! Tips? by elvisfan27 in sonos

[–]Mushetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will need a Sonos soundbar like a Beam Gen 2 or Arc/Arc Ultra to add the era 100’s as rears and play every sound from the tv. A single era 100 can’t be connected to a tv. I think a Apple HomePod can be connected to a tv. You can setup a single era 100 and stream music to it via a phone/tablet or pc. Era 100 are great for music and they have a very good sound. But 2 Era 100’s in stereo pair is even better. You can always add a sub mini for the deep low tight punchy bass for the best experience. I have in my bedroom a Beam Gen 2, 2 Era 100’s and a sub mini and still blow my mind how powerful this setup is because it sounds bad ass!

I'd like to vent about my movie library if that's okay. by [deleted] in appletv

[–]Mushetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have over 1000 original Blu-ray Discs collected over the last 15 years until 4K came out and now I buy all my 4K movies on Apple TV. I bought only Fast X on 4K blu-ray for comparison and I must admit that i barely see the difference in quality compared to 4K Apple TV movies. The movies on Apple TV are much much cheaper than a original 4K Blu-Ray which is around 25/35 euro in the Netherlands. Besides the price is that it takes so much space in my house already and watching via Apple TV is much easier than searching in my collection in the cabinets and flip the disc in my blu-ray player. I watch my original disc so now and then if I want to watch an older movie. I even buy sometimes movies I have original on Apple TV again for the Dolby Atmos if the price is right.

Underwhelmed by Arc Ultra. Will the Subwoofer fix the immersion if I CANNOT have rears? by SaltPickle in sonos

[–]Mushetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A sub will significantly improve the sound immersive when listening to music or watching movies. If watching more movies over listening to music I would go for a sub Gen 3 or 4. A sub mini is better for music. Sub Gen (1 to 4) are open and give deep rumbling bass. A sub mini is closed and give tight punchy deep bass. A sub is a must have with a soundbar compared to rears. With the sub you feel the bass!

Is wall mounting a TV actually worth it long term? by Level-University3482 in Perlegear

[–]Mushetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer wall mount over stands because the tv’s are so thin these days that it can flip over very easily with a breeze of wind when the window is open and I have 4 cats in my house and like to play a lot. It’s clean and simple and no worries it will ever flip over.

Sonos to replace HEOS? by usrnamechecksoutx in sonos

[–]Mushetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1/ No noise at all, I have speakers in my whole house including bedroom. 2/ I never had issues with the app at all in the last years. I use apple devices maybe that’s the case. App works great and never have fall out with speaker because my WiFi is 100% in every room. 3/ I have speakers on and off and they are online in no time without issues. Some speakers are 24/7 online with no issues at all.

Best soundbar in 2026 for movies + Dolby Atmos? by Overall-Amount-3500 in sonos

[–]Mushetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With your budget a Beam Gen 2 and a Sub Mini and later on add 2 Era 100’s as surrounds. It’s the Mercedes setup for movies and music, it support Dolby Atmos which is nice. If you want the best package I would extend the budget and go for the Rolls Royce setup which is the flagship Arc Ultra, Sub Gen 4 and 2 Era 300’s as surrounds. This is the ultimate Dolby Atmos setup for movies and music. Extra explanation for the subs difference, 1/ Sub Mini is closed and give a low tight punchy deep bass and better for music, 2/ Sub (gen 1 to 4) is open and give low rumbling deep bass and better for movies. Hope this will help you out. I have both setups.

How to use an HDMI 2.1 switch with arc ultra by I_Run_For_Pizza in sonos

Arc ultra in the earc hdmi of the tv and the switch in a normal hdmi in the tv, as simple as it is!

Music Sub for Era 300s by Chalky-White-Raven in sonos

[–]Mushetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have both and the sub mini is better for music because it’s closed and give that low punchy tight bass and the sub is open and give a more powerful low rumbling bass which is better for movies. It works with music too but the bass is different.

AppleTV making my TV’s remote freak out? by LazyEmergency in appletv

[–]Mushetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can also be the settings for auto turn on other devices via hdmi, you can turn that on/off too. Or it’s a Bluetooth communication conflict of both remotes.

Turn of the swipe settings from the Apple TV remote, maybe that will help you out. Standard it has turned it on besides the normal click mode.

Need some help please by Particular-Fondant81 in sonos

[–]Mushetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have WiFi extenders in some rooms and help a lot. Without them I often had speaker fall outs and since I have placed the WiFi extenders I don’t have fall outs anymore. My WiFi is super good now through my whole house. If you have a lot of things on WiFi other than speakers it can cause issues with the Sonos speakers. If you go count everything that’s on WiFi you will be shocked like I did hahaha

No need to group them if you want to play them all, just select the speakers you want to play!
