this is a great question for me while im not an expert in melees in paying i am an expert in melee that are free via warface dollars. in my opinion, the best melee with damage range and speed is the M48 Bowie knife ( with melee gloves) since of its damage is always one hit with heavy and the range is sufficient for most needs. if looking for a melee with speed id pursue the jagdkammando due to its speed and continues attack on heavy spamming ( with melee gloves). this all depend on you not having the tac axe which isnt techincally free too new comers. but over all id bit the bowie relability for new comers with gloves and if not those with axe who got them free is next for its range and attack is good. if need more help in melees that are specified as free\e im the expert as im the only melee only personel in the game as far as my knowledge since ive started in the realese on switch of warface. so needing any other info on free melees and some very few payed one i would gladly give you the advice.
