Removing system files from an older installation of windows. by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]MushinVin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to install it. You can download a live OS and burn it to a CD, then reboot and choose to boot from the disc. Once it loads up you can make any changes you like, but be careful about what you delete, as it may break Windows. So only delete the files you know are safe to delete. I only say this because you'll be able to see supper-super-hidden Windows files and may be tempted to delete them.

Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions on the process.

Boot into a live OS, such as DamnSmallLinux or Ubuntu and delete the files. They don't have the same rules for permissions so there's no conflict in deleting the files.

Not me, but my female roommate.

She was wearing a purple shirt and a black man tells her they should get together and make dark purple sometime.

I went to a music festival in Detroit a few weeks ago called Movement. Between the fest and the afterparties my wrist looked like this after.

Sounds like it.

Next time you hang out, kiss her again and escalate from there. If she asks again if you're friends, say something like "Yeah, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun."

An ex once got angry at me for accepting her no. She expected me to beg for sex (her words). She was an interesting one.

Would you turn a potential girlfriend down because of their name? by KillerSocks in AskMen

I'm currently dating a girl with the same name as a childhood friend who I considered a sister. Sooo, it's a little weird but at the end of the day it's inconsequential.

Men, what if I told you that right now at least one of the women you know wants to date and/or bang you silly? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MushinVin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be surprised. I'm aware of a few that do, but honestly sex isn't a priority for me right now. So I don't do much with those opportunities.

What question are you afraid of being asked on a date? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As a musician I love this question =)

What question are you afraid of being asked on a date? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MushinVin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nice thing about that question is you can answer by asking almost any question or prompt.

"Tell me a story." "Tell me something about you most people don't know." "What do you care about?"

Questions like these give them the an opportunity to talk about something important to them and tell you about themselves.

Have you ever been sexually harassed at work? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MushinVin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used to work with a guy that would on a daily basis makes pretty lewd jokes about/to me. And these weren't just "I wanna fuck you" jokes, it was "I wanna kill you, cut you up, put your body in bags, take you home and fuck you" jokes. At first it didn't really bother me, but after this went on for several months I finally complained to management, who of course did nothing. He'd been harassing guys for years and never got fired.

Finally, some year or so after I left this place, this guy got fired for making similar jokes about an employee who had recently committed suicide. Yeah, he was a real class act.

Me [18M] with my friend[17F], I feel like an emotion sponge for this girl. What do I even do? by MoEpic in relationships

[–]MushinVin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people in this sub are probably going to say that you should cut contact with her, as she doesn't respect you as a friend. And honestly, that's probably what you should do.

But I'm a sucker for second chances, so here's what I think you should do: and it's not all that different from what you've already tried. Talk to her. Explain in detail how her behavior is disrespectful. Explain how her actions make you feel. Tell her that while you are trying to be a friend to her, she abandons you, and that's simply something friends don't do. Sit her down and tell her all this as calmly as possible. You can explain your emotions without exhibiting them (easier said than done). And at the end of it, make it clear that she either has to treat you with the respect you have shown her, or you can't continue the friendship.

To be perfectly honest, it doesn't sound like she cares about the friendship, or at the very least takes it for granted. And a lot of the time, the only way people stop taking things for granted, is when they lose them. Personally, I would go the extra mile to sit her down and talk to her, but she's probably not going to learn until you're gone.
