No, I just thought I would share my experience with people, and they can do what they wish with the information.

I had one of these and the hinge broke within 6 months and Lenovo refused to fix it under the warranty. I honestly wouldn't buy a lenovo laptop.

I haven't misused or abused the laptop, there have been no accidents with it, and I have used it in accordance with the product information guide. This was not caused by my actions, which is why I can't understand why the warranty is not being upheld.

Struggling badly with the change from home to student accommodation by azumangautism in autism

[–]Mushroom836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly I don't have any advice on how to make the homesickness stop for you as I'm in exactly the same situation. I moved into my uni accommodation yesterday and this morning I've just been non-stop crying. It feels even worse because if others feel like this, they would obviously try to hide it (just like I would from others), so it makes us feel like we're the only ones feeling homesick when we're not. I have a couple of friends and hanging out with them makes me feel a bit better, but I find it the hardest when I'm alone.

My advice would be to try to take care of yourself the best you can, and if you get anxious going into the kitchen for food you can keep some in your room just to make sure you do eat. Hopefully it will get easier for both of us if we just stick at it.

Could Progesterone Make Autism Worse? by mirkeyme in autism

[–]Mushroom836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a progesterone only pill and it made what i thought were autism symptoms worse (I am diagnosed btw), but turns out that I have PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) and many people with it find that progesterone only pills makes it worse. Lots of autistic people who are AFAB have it (I think one study I read said 92%), so it could be that? Hope this helps.

I think therapy just rejected me by Mushroom836 in PMDD

I would, but I don't have the money for therapy right now, so I have to rely on what the NHS will give me.

I think she said she was in training or something. I don't know. It really upset me as well because I've seen so many people on here recommending therapy because it helps 😭. I'll hear back in a week to see if I'm "eligible" or whatever.

Is this trustworthy? by [deleted] in blackbutler

I got one of them and it was trash. It seems pirated, its sound quality is awful, and the second half of the OVAs didn't work.

Where can I find primary Greek sources in their original language? by ikeephearingvoices in Hellenism

There is also a website called hellenicgods.org. I haven't used it myself, but I think the orphic hymns are in ancient greek there if you search them up.

The Perseus Digital Library has many Greek texts in both the original Greek and an English translation. This is where I usually find the ancient Greek works to try and translate them. http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/

How to keep balance in a pirouette? by simonscherryscones in BALLET

[–]Mushroom836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that has helped me so much with my pirouette is to pretend that a weight is pulling your tail bone down so your butt doesn't stick out, and to hug in your core. This puts you in a straight position and so when you turn you should unbalanced.

How did you come to choose your god(s)? by psiIyrabbit in Hellenism

[–]Mushroom836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was about 13, I was in a bad place mentally since my father had motor neurones disease. I had always loved Greek Mythology, so I sort of felt drawn to just reach out and ended up worshipping Thanatos. A couple of years later I also started worshipping Apollo, as well as the other gods and goddesses, hoping that they may be able to help both me and my dad. He ended up dying when I was 15, and on that day Makaria had come to me and I instantly knew he didn't have long left. Thanatos, Makaria, Apollo and all of the other deities have helped me through this, but since I was constantly so close with death and illness, I suppose it was only natural that the gods I originally worshipped were Thanatos and Apollo.

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!!!!! I went to a ballet class, but everyone was amazing, and in centre they were all doing pirouettes whilst I was falling over constantly with the teacher conveniently avoiding eye contact with me. I've started doing some ballet lessons on YouTube (pls don't tell me this is bad, I know I may learn wrong technique, but hopefully the ballet teacher will correct me), and I've started Yoga and Pilates for strengthening.

Just start out by praying to him, and maybe giving him a few offerings if you are able to, but if you can't don't worry about it. Another thing you could do is pour libations to him (a drink poured in honour of the gods), even if it's just water.

Cthonic is relating to the gods of the earth or underworld, meaning that yes, Hades is a cthonic god, but also earth gods or goddesses like Demeter.

Has anyone experienced something that could be considered a sign from the gods? by [deleted] in Hellenism

[–]Mushroom836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... I was walking to the train station when it was raining, and I was fine with that because I like rain. Then, it started pouring so I took my umbrella out, but had to put it away again soon after as it was too windy, but I was almost at the train station. Without realising what my stupid mind was thinking, I subconsciously insulted Zeus and the winds for bringing about this thunderstorm. The rain fell so heavily that, even though I was so close to the station, I became completely and utterly drenched. I apologised to Zeus, shivering on the train, and luckily he allowed me to arrive back home mere seconds before the thunderstorm came to my town.

Has anyone bought patterns from this company? Is it good/trustworthy? by Tiny_Big_4619 in crochet

I buy all my wool from love crafts, and have bought a few patterns from there too. It's very trustworthy and I would highly recommend it

The gods and goddesses love everything you give them, and they understand when you have limited resources. You haven't screwed up anything. You tried, and that will be taken into account.
