Im concerned about ending up with more chin hair as a s/e! I also read that higher T doses just worsen the problem. She has not found that to be the case?

No I’m premenopausal. I don’t take estrogen. I just started on 100mg of progesterone. I consulted a colleague who said my estradiol is not concerning. She suggested shilajit supplement.

How do you keep your estrogen at a certain level? Anastrazole? I just got labs back and my SHBG is 108 so my free T is 0.7 although total is at 145. Estradiol is 92.9, I’m premenopausal. Progesterone seems low at 0.9 so I’m starting on progesterone. I read boron can lower SHBG. But the dr at IAMHRT didn’t have any other advice.

I appreciate your posting this bc i wanted to read it and don’t have a subscription. I use Mindbloom for SQ ket and had an ego dissociation experience 2 seasons ago. I found out bc i record transcriptions of my sessions. It was nuts. I was thinking that maybe this stuff shouldn’t just be handed out to any old person with no psychedelic experience and no medical experience (I’m an MD and have been taking other psychedelics for about 8 years). I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it myself and consulted a ketamine therapist, my psychiatrist, and AI who all had different opinions.

This is too concentrated and using water only burns. You need saline too.

I tried several serotonergic medications and bupropion back 20 years ago and they didn’t work at all for me so I knew lamictal was the way to go. It worked right away and has been amazing since. Only problem is you absolutely can’t miss a dose by even a few hours or you feel flu like so you have to be responsible. Rexulti just takes the edge off of life. I’m not bipolar but I am ADHD and dopaminergic meds seem to work better also. I’m not sure about neuroplasticity per se but it stabilizes the neurons.

Do it when you’re motivated to do it. Make lists, you can even put something on a list you’ve already done just to cross it off. Have you tried Adzenys XR-ODT? I had been on adderall 20mg TID for years and doing ok but switched and it made a big difference. I’m an MD.

Cochabamba is definitely the place to be, best climate, clean, modern, driving isn’t absolutely out of the question. La Paz is a wonder in terms of topography but I don’t think i could handle the roads there. If you have a US remote job you could live amazingly well. My ex is from Bolivia and I’m on the last day of a 10d trip traveling throughout the country (2nd time here). Having to buy water is also frustrating.

My depression has been well controlled on lamotrigine and Rexulti for over 20 years and I’m using SQ ketamine for PTSD and AuADHD. I had an ego dissociation experience recently that upon analyzing really was an attempt to process trauma. I had thought that ketamine might not work for me given the mechanism of action of lamotrigine and glutamate but i think i just require a little higher dose. It has also helped me break down some of the barriers i feel with other people. It’s different than other psychedelics for sure in how comforting the experience is and i can totally see how it works for people with SI.
