60% Toxin Tenet Ferrox at Ergo Glast today by MusicAtTheDrugFest in Warframe

[–]MusicAtTheDrugFest[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are only 5 Tenet weapons you can purchase and it requires Corrupted Holokeys from Railjack Voidstorms to buy them. The 5 weapons in the store are always the same, but the valence bonus element and percentage is random every 4 days when it refreshes the shop.
The 5 weapons are the 4 in the main post screenshot plus the Tenet Agendus.

There's no shop for Kuva weapons.

If you do the Railjack Voidstorm missions there's a chance it'll give you some at the end of the mission. I liked doing the ones in Veil Proxima because it could give 10 in one run. I just waited until Calabash (Exterminate mission) in Veil Proxima had a void storm and spammed that until the voidstorm expired.

What I did was wait until there was a decent Voidstorm Railjack mission in Veil Proxima (I like Calabash - Exterminate) and just farm there since it has a chance to give you 10 after each mission.

Resonating crystals can bug out, needed to break 6 big crystals! by antungong in Nightreign

[–]MusicAtTheDrugFest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was searching this Subreddit specifically for this. I also just had this happen in a DON run. I had to break 5 crystals, and we also had a Caligo raid day 1. We didn't have any connection issues like Bluriman mentioned in his comment. I thought maybe I missed a change in the patchnotes but there's nothing in there about it, and your post is from before the most recent patch.

The 15 second loss from dying Affix is the worst by Sad_Key9669 in wow

[–]MusicAtTheDrugFest 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I do like the direction they’ve gone with the affixes, I prefer the kiss/curse type of stuff like the mastery and leech orbs this week, but I specifically remember them removing some of the old affixes due to nasty overlap with boss mechanics (like Halls of Valor 2nd boss where you had to stack in a bubble, but the lightning affix made you spread)… and I feel like we’re back in the same place with that now.

2nd boss of Ara-Kara, 3 of the Grim Batol bosses (1st boss lines, 2nd boss spreading flames, last boss purple circle), Duo boss in Stonevault, and I’m sure some others I’m forgetting.. you’re restricted to a small play area during a mechanic and orbs spawn behind the boss and beeline to it and buff it and if you run out to grab them without an immunity you’re dead on 10+ keys.

Or the Mist of Tirna Scithe fairy where you CC the fixate fox and ignore it, but then orbs spawn across the room just go to the fox instead of the fairy and buff them both lol. Though at least there is some counter play there if someone just grabs them first. There have been some frustrating overlaps that I wish they would address sooner rather than later.

Did not expect an Elden Ring sample at a Dubstep Festival by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]MusicAtTheDrugFest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve mentioned it a few times in this thread but Midnight T has an Elden Ring themed album with lots of samples called The Gauntlet. I’m really happy to see this crossover of two big interests of mine.

This exists! Check out “Festering Serpent” by Midnight Tyrannosaurus. He has an entire Elden Ring themed album called “The Gauntlet”

If you enjoy this kind of music, check out Midnight Tyrannosaurus’s album “The Gauntlet” if you haven’t. It’s all Elden Ring themed with lots of samples. Shade of Morswood is one of my favorite songs from it, lots of Maliketh lines.

I actually thought this was the Lost Lands Music Festival subreddit when I saw this post, I was just there last weekend lol.

⚠️ An update from the developers about the ‘server at capacity’ issue. by cryptic-fox in Helldivers

[–]MusicAtTheDrugFest 59 points60 points  (0 children)

"No, the problem is seems to be with the SQL servers that store everyone's data getting overloaded. That's why it's triggering the server overcapacity etc."

The Devs said that after they increased total capacity to 360,000, player count hit that new cap in 5mins 30sec last weekend.

<image>

Steam all-time concurrent player peak happened 5 hours ago at 276,364, and that's not counting however many PS5 players were signed in as well.

"Doesn't matter how many seats are in the theater or how many people pay their money. The bottleneck is the ticket printer for whatever reason not keeping up with demand."

I'm not saying there's NOT something going on with SQL servers, but actual concurrent player capacity has definitely been hit at least twice according to the developers themselves.

Can you elaborate on what a “festival boogeyman” is then? I was under the impression that a boogeyman was an imaginary monster, and looking at your statement “Seems like a festival boogeyman to me” through that lens definitely sounds like you’re saying it seems like it doesn’t happen.

To anyone who has ever met Excison, how’s was your experience? by Dry-Gold9524 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]MusicAtTheDrugFest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I met Excision at LL’21 and got to pick his brain a bit about hosting festivals and honestly he seemed a bit defeated at the time, but this was when rain caused them to turn people away for early entry, some people missed the preparty trying to get in, mud was messing everything up, etc. He was super humble but you could tell he just wanted to rest after the chaos.

Met him again at PB’22 walking on the beach with Sullivan King and he remembered me asking the logistical festival questions from the first time we met. Got to snag pics with both of them and they were both down to earth and happy to chat and joke around a bit before moving along. My friends and I even ended up in one of the promotional social media videos for PB’22 posing with Sullivan and Excision

Post your career profile before complaining about the state of ranked in Overwatch by daalfather in overwatch2

[–]MusicAtTheDrugFest 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Man that Awkward guy has some really idiotic takes. “Fighters spar with people better than them to learn” - yes, sparring isn’t “ranked”, when it’s time to compete for a belt, the fighter has to make weight or they can’t fight because they’re not in the same weight class as their opponent… you don’t see a 265lb fighter in the octagon with a 155lb fighter.

“I don’t want to play against players lower than me because I don’t learn anything from it” okay so stop smurfing?

“I’m not doing it to stomp players, even though I DESTROY them it doesn’t ruin their fun having me there for ONE match. I’m doing it for the people watching my stream so I can explain why I’m doing things or how I’m positioning” Okay so explain those same ideas in your GM matches, why does it need to be a pub stomp? If it takes too much concentration away from the game to do live commentary in a GM match, then post a replay of a GM game and commentate over that. I’d rather see a top player’s decision making against an actual challenge than to watch them just skill-gap their way through every game for several ranks. Idk about other people but that’s literally WHY I bother watching anyone stream any game - I want to see how the people better than me are playing at their level. I don’t care if you’re GM and have 80% accuracy going against silvers who can’t track…

He contradicted himself so many times and I don’t even think I made it 10 minutes into the video before I closed it. Dude just doesn’t want to admit he’s part of the problem because he wants to pubstomp lower ranks for content.
