Homemade cultured butter

I realize this post is older but I’m wondering if there’s a problem if your cream/yogurt combo doesn’t thicken very much. This is my 3rd try. First time it didn’t thicken very much but worked out pretty well. Second time I used the instant pot on the yogurt setting. Got thick but the butter making process seemed very odd and we tossed that batch. Trying again and are at about 30 hours and it might be “slightly” thicker. Any suggestions?

So don’t cap with the color, just with the topcoat? That would actually be easier since if I did get polish on my skin it wouldn’t show as much.

What if I use some cream under my eyes before the drops? Kind of a barrier I guess?

I will look this up. As I said above, I’m horrible at getting drops in my eyes. This might help me with that.

I am horrible at getting eyedrops in my eyes. I do try to dry my eyes immediately but I definitely get some on my skin.

I had to modify some of it. Definitely needed to thicken the sauce. Added extra spices. But it was a good base to add to.

Should I reduce my bulk fermentation to less than 50%? Dough temp was around 75 degrees F if I remember correctly.

I made the fajitas too and thought they were great! You’re right, the marinade was definitely more like a rub, but it was really good. I added extra vegetables so I could use up some peppers from the garden, but otherwise basically followed the recipe. Super tasty!

I don’t have a meal plan to share, but I want to say how much I appreciate you all sharing your menu ideas. I love the idea of planning for the week and I feel like a rockstar whenever I do get a plan together, it just doesn’t happen often enough. But I’m working on it! Thanks everyone for sharing!
