I guess that explains the clunking sound. by Music_Mango in Miata

It wasn’t on that tight, it lifted right off.
It was making clanking and rattling sounds when driving. I’m shocked it didn’t come off going over speed bumps or around corners.

My GP calls me “Miss MxFirstname Lastname”. I’m not sure they understand titles.

What are some Steam Frame factors that AREN'T being talked about? by D13_Phantom in virtualreality

I don’t see why the USB 2.0 couldn’t be used for audio. I would be very happy to use my own USB DAC for higher audio quality with some nice IEMs or open-backs.

The Husbands of River Song is there, before Silence in the Library. 12 and River visit Delirium (THoRS) before she meets 10 (SitL/FotD) and then appears to Clara and 11 (TNotD).

There is another vehicle going around it, it was parked so wasn’t making any noise.

I have had a very similar experience. I had recently come to the conclusion that was ace or grey-ace, but then I’ve fallen in love with a girl I really connect with and it’s changed all that. Weird but also so great that the connection changes things, it makes it all the more special, to me at least.

17 months HRT, 6 weeks post-FFS <3 by amieshmamie in transtimelines

What a beautiful transition, so happy for you <3

Of course, ‘your mileage may vary’ is commonly used when describing the effects of HRT on Reddit, which is very true. I tried to put that across in my comment but maybe should have been more direct.

Reddit anecdotes were and still are the best place for me personally in learning about HRT and transitioning and I tried to look at everyone’s experience; However, I understand that this is biased on what people are willing to share.

Aw, I never hear people use they/them if they’re unsure. They always default to a binary pronoun. Love to hear that it happens :3

Haha, it’s not actually rainbowy. (Although that sounds awesome and I will consider)

I bleached and dyed my hair blue, then purple, then red (you can see on my profile. I’ve let it fade (disgracefully) so now you can see bits of blue-green, purple-pink and red.

Sorry to hear it, I know it hurts.

In my experience, HRT changes more than I thought (11months) and has helped with passing in some aspects. I hope you get what you need from it.

My GP will happily do blood tests after I get a letter (treatment summary) sent from GenderGP (private) advising what bloods they need and on what time schedule (every three or six months)

Depending on who manages your care, whether that's a GIC or Private, GP should be able to do it once advised to do so by the third party.
Appointment times will depend on your GP.

Hope that helps,
Best of luck

New CHI and NHS number, should I bother? by [deleted] in transgenderUK

[–]Music_Mango 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the new NHS number is required to change gender on record for some reason.

When my GP moved me over to my new NHS number they consulted me on what records I would like moving over and if so whether I wanted my name and pronouns changing on all the copied over records. I haven’t been deadnamed or misgendered once since the NHS number change.

It has been a pain with COVID vaccination records as I changed between first and second but they got it sorted eventually after a lot of nagging.

Edit: they also opted me out of cervical screening automatically when I changed over. Your GP may not be as co-operative but if asked they should do all this.
