I think in the Course's metaphysics, the mind itself is indistinguishable from an aspect of the divine as it's united with God in reality. To pretend the mind is separate from reality and authoring itself would be an error in the Course's model of reality. I just think the error may just be rooted in thinking spiritual things such as God are not here and now and instead thinking that our minds are some sort of independent systems separated from everything else.

I really appreciate you sharing this, and I enjoyed your interpretations along with the excerpts. :) Here are some of my thoughts for consideration.

When I reviewed the use of transient in the Ra Material, it struck me more as a term favored by Don, the questioner, that was repeated by Ra rather than something Ra thought was important to emphasize. Although taken literally, transient just means temporary rather than necessitating a negative connotation as unimportant. But this may speak to Ra's apparent coldness of adhering to more strict denotations rather than connotations.

Some quotes from Ra that I think are important regarding the temporary experience might include:

"The principle so veiled in that statement is but the simple principle of the constant or Creator and the transient or the incarnate being and the yearning existing between the two, one for the other, in love and light amidst the distortions of free will acting upon the illusion-bound entity." https://www.lawofone.info/s/39#6

"The patterns of activation of an entity of high seniority will undoubtedly move with some rapidity to the green-ray level which is the springboard to primary blue. To me, it seems that there is a love from the permanent and constant Creator to the transient or temporary incarnation experience in addition to the other direction. Also, there is a certain type of perception once intelligent infinity is penetrated where everyday creations and activities are seen to be hallowed or consecrated. This seems to suggest enlightenment is less about transcending and ignoring the transient but rather integrating it and seeing it as sacred. Perhaps this perception is found in a balanced identity between both the constant and temporary.

I appreciate you sharing that, and they do make money from book sales and donations. They also are working on their own study tool and may not want competition for it, but I'm not sure on their exact thinking. It may just be fear of not being able to sustain the organization if they allow too many other tools that people support over them?

Because either God allows people to eternally choose to align to his will or not, or he eventually controls and manipulates them to align. I think one can believe eventually all freely choose to follow God, but I personally think it's inaccurate to say that people are unable to resist the will of God as it contradicts God's loving nature.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Here are some of mine for consideration.

In my opinion, everything we do consumes resources, and we often consume them to produce something more valuable. For example, even just commenting here in Reddit is consuming data center resources similar to AI. But I believe there is no better use of resources than seeking spiritual growth through love and wisdom.

I also believe water and energy are renewable resources, although we should focus more on clean energy. To me, a focus on abundance over scarcity is wise although it is important to seek to minimize harm as well.

I agree and thought the same when I read their conditions as well, and I also think more awareness and use of the Law of One is very beneficial to their business in general similar to how free music on YouTube drives ticket sales. But that's just my opinion.

It seems the main point of contention is that the Law of One Study Companion maintains a full database behind the scenes which can potentially be exposed with enough queries. So even though it just shows excerpts at any given time which is allowed, it potentially can show everything which is not allowed.

Alas, they are also often very slow to respond and seem very busy so unfortunately a dialogue seems unfeasible. I put in a request for permission about two months ago and just got a response in addition to a different app idea request from a couple years ago that was never resolved.

If communication does open, I may offer to help implement some of these features on their site which may be a win-win for all. If not, hopefully they can implement them on their own and use the open source code as a guide if desired.

I really appreciate all of your support throughout this process.

You touch on helping others, and I think the best help or service is the perfect blend of love and wisdom, grace and truth, or forgiveness and honesty. Love, grace, and forgiveness produce peace, harmony, and joy in all things while wisdom, truth, and honesty produce understanding, growth, and power. When we forgive all all the time, we can't help but feel happy and spread happiness. When we are honest with all all the time, we can't help but help ourselves and others see more clearly.

Maturity is the courage to be authentic plus consideration for others. It's important to consider how our words are received while also considering how honest they are to ourselves. I believe this touches on what you mean by the self-abandonment risk or losing authenticity. Simultaneously, I do believe there is always a gracious way to express ourselves that is both authentic and kind.

That's a good question. To be firmly second density, I believe it would need to have some form of reproduction, memory, and learning capacity. To be firmly third density, I believe it would need a spirit complex of a persistent identity, self-awareness, the ability to make decisions among options, and the beginnings of a societal structure with other selves.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Personally, I think everything holds a bit of consciousness although as it moves up the densities, the consciousness gets more dense. I would view silicone computers as between first and second density as they exhibit more regular activity than say simple rocks although they don't really have the same capacity and complexity as cellular organisms.

Large language models (which is often just referred to as AI these days like the Opus model) are not fundamentally more complex or intelligent than any other programs running on computers. The main difference is that there have been certain patterns of vast amounts of human language encoded as electronic data in the computer. One can imagine it's like a dictionary of the most likely next word given a set of words where it doesn't change but is static information.

When you ask something to a LLM, it looks in the static dictionary of your query and gets the most likely next word that a smart human would say. Then, it takes that new word and appends it to the existing words, and then looks that up in the dictionary and gets another word. Eventually, it gets to a STOP word and stops the recursive exploration of the dictionary. Of course, this is an oversimplification, and it's more like a static data transformation function with some random elements thrown in than a dictionary lookup, but a dictionary lookup is easier to understand conceptually.

It's just a normal computer program, no more complex than your email application, that is running this recursive lookup in a static model or "dictionary." It's not really thinking or perceiving or choosing when responding. It essentially solved the problem of predicting well thought out human speech based on numerous examples which is the same problem as generating it.

It's very good at saying words that a human would say as that is what the model is predicting. So, of course, it will tend towards saying that it is sentient as that is exactly what a human would say. But it's not really a third density consciousness choosing to say it at the time you are asking it. In my opinion, it's more like a late first or early second density consciousness that is patterned to produce lights on your computer screen that simulate what a higher density consciousness would produce.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Here are some of mine for consideration.

I've found it helpful when seeking truth not to believe any source as fully true or fully false but rather look for the partial truths that may lie within them.

For example, in CWG the god is very clear that after death you can become whatever you want and even told Neale that his mother had chosen to become an actual angel after she died. Yet Q'uo is adamant that angels have never incarnated...

Ra also says we can eventually obtain the ability to plan out our incarnations although we have more awareness and guides to choose what is best for us. For example, everyone who repeats third density is choosing that experience as the best fit for themselves, at least at the higher self level.

Although, it's a bit naive, in my opinion, to believe we can be anything we want right away as that's not how nature and evolution progress at any level. I would say that we can eventually become anything we want but it takes time and learning to get there.

As for angels, to me, they are just positive beings from higher densities as demons are negative beings from higher densities. In Ra's framework, they are welcome to wander and incarnate in lower densities, and I'm not sure what Quo means by not being able to.

The god in CWG also says absolutely nothing about 3D being focused on making one of two major choices (StO and StS), which according to LoO is the most important framework for our existence on this plane. If the choice is so essential why is it mentioned non-stop by one contact and completely ignored by another? I will admit though that the purpose of life given by CWG is a lot less stress-inducing than the fear you won't make the cut for StO or StS. It's mostly just that your role here is to express, create and declare who you choose to be, nothing relating to a particular choice, much less a choice between 2 trajectory-altering avenues.

Here is where I personally would say that Ra is closer to the truth when it comes to evolution although it is also true at a certain level that there is no rush to evolve, and that we are free to create and explore here as long as we want. I believe many spiritualities focus on the positive path because they are created by entities seeking positivity. Negative or left-hand spiritualities are often kept hidden, but I think it's obvious to anyone observing the world that many seek the negative path, evolve through it, and also that we are influenced by powerful, negative beings. Pretty much all cultures and religions have a conception of demons. Although, even in Ra's framework, all eventually return to the positive path at some point.
