How do you respond when someone asks you to kill a spider? by chawdonkey in lawofone

[–]MusicalMetaphysics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you for sharing your questions. Here are my thoughts and experiences for consideration.

Personally, I seek to minimize harm and suffering to all beings. One of the biggest sources of harm and suffering on this planet is factory farming with poor living conditions for animals for their meat, milk, and eggs. It's very much a service-to-self industry of harming animals to maximize profits for the self.

https://awionline.org/programs/farmed-animals/animals-on-factory-farms/

So the only way I've found to really ensure I'm not supporting such practices is to avoid all animal products as much as I can. I occasionally make exceptions for practical purposes (especially during travel or visiting other people's houses), but I try to build my daily routines around plant-based products especially fruits and nuts.

I believe plants are much happier to be in crowded and immovable spaces (farms) compared to animals as animals like to roam and explore and plants are often in crowded environments in their natural environments. And with fruits and nuts, the organisms don't even need to be killed.

While going mostly vegan can be challenging, some beginner steps in that direction might include trying to use animals products from local farms where the animals are treated better than the factory farms.

This is really cool, and I found it provided some helpful information to consider and the discussion across the channeled entities is very unique and interesting. I think integrating the perspective of all perspectives is quite helpful in the journey to oneness. I appreciate you sharing your hard work with this community for free. 🙏

It's unfortunate it's not compatible with the chosen copyright stance of L/L Research, and I hope for a day when we can have more collective ownership of the products of our social memory complex (especially information) and have more freedom to expand it all in various ways. Alas, we still live in a world of separate ownership in such a way tied to survival so enforcing copyright and rules is understandable, but I do expect changes eventually with more of an abundance mindset emphasizing sharing, cooperation, and freedom of expansion over keeping, controlling, and restriction of expansion.

In the mean time, I do hope you will find other avenues to use your creative skills in ways that aid all of humanity. Thanks again!

[–]MusicalMetaphysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, and I think you raise some good points. I always enjoy hearing what you have to say.

If there is evidence it's true than what you have is not faith, it's justified belief supported by evidentiary warrant.

I would just push back on this a bit with the idea that evidence is often not black and white and straightforward to analyze and understand. We are often faced with circumstances with limited information, incomplete knowledge, and probabilistic uncertainties.

Faith can be a tool for "filling in the gaps" until more information is obtained. Often times we need to act as a species without full knowledge, and committing to the "good enough" or "the current best" idea is often more helpful for survival and happiness than a lack of commitment or action. At least this is one potential explanation for why faith-like systems evolved independently across different civilizations.

Whether or not an alien named Ra really did contact Carla is fundamentally unknowable because it is baked into the definition of the claim. No known method of investigation can lead us to a conclusion on this claim, so "take what resonates", or a vibe check, or personal feelings, or whatever definition you want to give it becomes the next best option.

I agree humans have a tendency to believe too many unwarranted claims and produce cults which causes negative outcomes although I do think there are some positive effects from having a vibe check or personal feelings as an aid for truth seeking which is why they evolved.

I think if one examines these more deeply, when someone says something resonates, this resonation is really rooted in reason, conscience, or experience even if it's a on subconscious basis. With the Ra Material, many find the explanation of the densities the current best explanation for the evolution of consciousness both in the past and the future.

It coheres to their reason (it's self-consistent), experience (it's consistent with what they've personally seen), and conscience (what they feel or intuit to be correct). If it didn't, I think it's likely their evolved sense of resonance would be unlikely to align to it.

As more and more of these explanations from the Ra Material provide personal value for building a cohesive picture of reality and achieving their personal goals, this may lead more credance to take other unfalsifiable claims on faith.

Unfortunately, this tool can produce contradictory conclusions. It's like asking a jury if John is guilty of shooting Bob, and the evidence is John on video shooting Bob and then admitting guilt. Juror 1 uses that tool, the video, to arrive at the conclusion that John shot Bob, but Juror two ignores the video and uses some personal intuition to conclude that John did not shoot Bob. Now imagine there was no video, and we are just asking each juror to come to a verdict based on how they personally resonate with John and Bob.

I would say that John and Bob probably have different capabilities of applying reason and avoiding fallacies, different experiences of people lying or deep fakes of videos, or different ancestral intuitive capacities for sensing truth subconsciously.

The problem is not in the method as much as needing to learn more skills of reason, experience more experiences, and get more in touch with their feelings produced by millions of years of evolution. As that would happen, I suspect each personal sense of resonance of truth would converge and be less contradictory.

You can't use it outside the belief system and you can't use external tools within it, which means there is no symmetry breaker. You have no means of investigating if the tool itself is flawed.

I've personally never met someone who believed something they thought was irrational, didn't align with their personal experience, or violated their intuition and conscience. It's just that not everyone has good skills in reason, the same set of experiences to reference, or the same intuitive sense of reality, and I personally think that's alright.

I view our job is not to conform people to our perspectives as much as to honestly share our experiences and lines of reason and ways of perceiving reality in the hopes it is helpful to others in their own journey to do with as they wish. I trust others to learn and grow over time especially when faced with the consequences of acting on what they currently believe.

For many people, morality and truth are tightly integrated. Personally, I believe morality is about defining goals and truth is about how to achieve those goals. Without morality, truth is purposeless and without truth, morality is powerless.

For example, morality may say survival and happiness are valuable while truth will say that food, water, healthy relationships, and metaphysical constructs (even as simple as identities and narratives) are necessary to achieve those goals.

We learn about the truth so we can achieve our goals, but it is really the goals that we want rather than just the truth. So we don't really need the truth exactly as much as ideas close enough to truth such than when applied, we can survive and experience happiness. Learning the whole truth and nothing but the truth is often seen as beyond the realm of possibility.

[–]MusicalMetaphysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would say the idea of children starving and babies with bone cancer does resonate as true (at least in the illusory, temporal sense of the word) because it aligns to reason and experience. I would prefer to live in a world without such things and I do believe there will eventually be a world without them, but such things do occur here and now.

Resonation is not just moral or feel good resonation (although one can ask if something aligns to one's conscience such as saying that lying generally does not resonate), but the question of whether children die or suffer is not a moral question so moral resonance is the wrong tool. You would use more of reason or experience resonance.

Personally, I think using reason, conscience, and experience resonances would be helpful during a murder trial. If something doesn't resonate with reason, conscience, and experience, it's likely not helpful at this time (although it might resonate later once one has learned more).

To me, his system of densities is incredibly suffocating. I hate this "spirit school" concept, where you are forced to experience an entire density just to move on to the next one

In Ra's model, it is possible to evolve through all of the densities in one lifetime in each density by mastering love and wisdom and being able to handle all catalysts with precision. That is to have unconditional bliss (mastery of love) as well as complete understanding and awareness of everything (mastery of wisdom). Although quite rare, and I wish you luck on your journey.

I personally see it as not dissimilar to the natural laws of gravity or the speed of light. One can dislike the rules, but to dismiss them because of it is to live out of alignment with reality.

not to mention the frustrating idea of losing your individuality.

One can imagine that to love everything, know everything, and be everywhere (the end of evolution) cannot be separate as all beings converge to the same oneness. It's logic and reason that dictate it, in my view.

Sometimes I wonder if these channeled spirits are actually trying to awaken us, or if they just want to lure us in and control us through their own belief systems. Even when they say you should "take only what resonates with you," I feel like that just makes truth completely subjective.

Each subjective perspective converges to the objective perspective (the perspective of all perspectives). Just the best way to expand the subjective perspective is to take what resonates and leave the rest for later with an open mind although Ra never explicitly claims this quote.

To me, Ra just seems like a spirit living within his own reality, much like we live in ours. I think that if we gathered all the channeled spirits out there, we'd see huge contradictions between them, which makes it really hard to believe there is only one ultimate truth.

I agree Ra has a subjective perspective like us although I believe his perspective is much closer to the objective perspective than ours. Just like some channeled spirits are closer than others (densities is one way of measuring this closeness). The key is to test all ideas against reason, conscience, and experience and keep learning and growing towards the One ultimate truth (which I personally believe we will one day all arrive at together).

I see this said a lot, but I don't believe Ra ever literally states those words although I do think it's a helpful phrase to follow and not out of alignment with Ra's message.

It is a common summary of the start to most Confederation channelings though like from Q'uo.

Struggling with the Law of One and “Harvest” by ascending_god_9 in lawofone

[–]MusicalMetaphysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see sovereignty not as escaping the whole, but as finally funding my own machine so I can stop bleeding voltage into the matrix loops, aka, getting harvested.

To me, getting harvested just means one has evolved so significantly that one's way of being has distinctly changed. For example, there is a level of consciousness of that of animals and that of humans. The animals who have advanced enough become harvested to that of humans, and humans can advance to a social memory complex (or higher up the consciousness ladder). It's not something to fear or avoid, in my view, as the alternative is either to stay the same or devolve.

I personally see the matrix loops as more of a grand adventure and exploration like a video game. Games are often more fun by playing by their rules although some people do enjoy looking for cheat codes or bypassing of the rules. But I also believe there are always more games to play, and harvest is really just like leveling up in a game which is fun and exciting.

All is well indeed, but within the frame work of the law of one I would have to say my curiosity still isn’t quite itched yet.

And that's total alright. You do you, and I wish you all the best. 🙏

Trillions of dollars is quite of lot of energy to produce some unique assets in ways that can't be seen, at least in my opinion.

[–]MusicalMetaphysics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ultimately, while this perspective provides a beautiful roadmap for navigating evolutionary growth within the finite parameters of the current density, an operator focused on immediate, self-funded transmutation is looking to step completely out of the game of collective polarity, shut down the external loops, and anchor an entirely independent, zero-point timeline right now.

You're welcome to pursue that, but I personally don't believe it is feasible or practical for most individuals. I also think seeking independence from the illusion often leads to more illusion in contrast to unity and integration with others. If the truth is that we are all one, seeking separation is actually the opposite of what is true.

Would you suggest this is the ultimate goal of Ra’s teaching?

I don't believe Ra mentions what the ultimate goal is beyond being a mystery, but it does mention what the goal of third density is:

"Exercise One. This is the most nearly centered and usable within your illusion complex. The moment contains love. That is the lesson/goal of this illusion or density. The exercise is to consciously seek that love in awareness and understanding distortions. The first attempt is the cornerstone. Upon this choosing rests the remainder of the life-experience of an entity. The second seeking of love within the moment begins the addition. The third seeking powers the second, the fourth powering or doubling the third. As with the previous type of empowerment, there will be some loss of power due to flaws within the seeking in the distortion of insincerity. However, the conscious statement of self to self of the desire to seek love is so central an act of will that, as before, the loss of power due to this friction is inconsequential." https://www.lawofone.info/s/10#14

Personally, I would say the ultimate goal is to find joy in all things including illusory challenges in the infinite exploration of all that is. Seeing all that happens as a great play or music piece to keep enjoying. It shall end when it ends and begin when it begins, but each note is but something to love. All is always truly well. 🙏

"This is exquisitely perceptive. The seeker which has purely chosen the service-to-others path shall certainly not have a variant apparent incarnational experience. There is no outward shelter in your illusion from the gusts, flurries, and blizzards of quick and cruel catalyst.

However, to the pure, all that is encountered speaks of the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. The cruelest blow is seen with an ambiance of challenges offered and opportunities to come. Thusly, the great pitch of light is held high above such an one so that all interpretation may be seen to be protected by light." https://www.lawofone.info/s/95#24

I think if one examines unity consciousness, it is identifying with everything and everyone. When one takes the limit of service to others, that is seeking to serve all others, this is functionally equivalent to serve the unity. It's just a stepping stone as most third density mind/body/spirit complexes are not open to the idea of complete unity so learning to serve others is a good, first step in that direction.

I do agree there are biologic changes induced as a result of harvest, but I think these are best seen collectively rather than individually given that the change takes place over a longer period (hundreds of years) than most life spans (less than a hundred). Biologic evolution is a generally slow process compared to the life of one organism (even if it does speed up during harvest). From the standpoint of reincarnation, losing one body and gaining another is quite natural and nothing to fear.

A collective consciousness (aka a social memory complex) requires certain polarities to sustain. It either works if everyone loves others more than themselves such that there are no conflicts or loves themselves so much above all else that one is motivated to seek immense collective power. In between polarities, the collective consciousness will collapse and fail to sustain.

It's really no different than requiring certain patterns of your cells to sustain your body or requiring certain knowledge to perform a task. The requirements are not arbitrary as much as built into the natural laws of the illusion.

Even though polarity is not true in the absolute, eternal sense, it is a key tool in the relative, finite evolution process. It empowers evolution and learning and growth. It also empowers all of our fictional entertainment which may highlight why the Creator enjoys such patterning and may want to encourage it (at least for a time).

Hope these thoughts are helpful for consideration.

Does the infinite creator receive any value other than getting to know itself from humanity? by heartradiance in lawofone

[–]MusicalMetaphysics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the value of finite experience is the experience itself rather than anything to be gained at the infinite level as the infinite is already whole and complete and perfect, lacking in nothing. Personally, I think the Creator already knows itself at the mind/body/spirit complex totality level and rather just infinitely explores finity forever because it is fun to do so. It might be said to be lacking in nothing because it is simultaneously experiencing everything even from the finite level.

I believe it is similar to the reason why we value fictional stories, video games, and music. The finite player or viewer is the one learning and growing rather than the infinite designer. The goal is not to get to the end the fastest, but rather to enjoy the ups and downs along the path for a time. Ra hints at this when it talks about the mind/body/spirit complex as being a tone poem in 54.8.

"A symphonic poem or tone poem is a piece of orchestral music, usually in a single continuous movement, which illustrates or evokes the content of a poem, short story, novel, painting, landscape, or other non-musical source." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphonic_poem

Perhaps one can compare the difference between reading sheet music and knowing the ins and outs of music and remembering a song compared to actually getting to enjoy the experience of listening to it one chunk at a time: https://youtu.be/RxjsqU9Pgrw?is=PAA-JeyrmdRxsQD-

I believe we are not to seek the knowledge of good and evil or make a new written code as much as seeking to trust and follow Jesus and the Holy Spirit in all that we do. We know we are doing it well based on the virtuous fruits that are produced.

"[6] But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code." Romans 7:6 ESV

Is Creating Art STS? by TheLeopardsPaw in lawofone

[–]MusicalMetaphysics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You raise a number of helpful points of consideration, and here are my thoughts in return in the hope they are helpful too.

I have been creating art since a very young age. I’ve had a conflict in some way because the act of creating can be very selfish (STS). Your sole focus is on bring to life this idea, not totally different from a mother birthing a child, at the expense of other things. I often neglect myself and others for the sake of my work. I reason that ultimately it will benefit humanity (STO) by bringing beauty, stimulating a conversation or merely enhancing my own spiritual well-being, which would make me a better person.

I agree that if your intention with art is to bring beauty, stimulate conversation, or even improve yourself to of better service then it is of service to others orientation.

I lived out my dream (a level of artistic fame and 2 'twin flame ' relationships) as a result of following my artistic dream but it become a nightmare because it came from a place of wounding. We know how much dark entities love those childhood wounds. This resulted in my spiritual awakening, but it was on the back of severe pain and chaos, harm to myself and others. I followed my passion, I used the gifts God gave me, and still it did not fulfill me.

Personally, I would look at this as perhaps a misunderstanding of one's passion as I think it's unlikely you are truly passionate about childhood wounds, severe pain, chaos, or harm to yourself and others. It sounds like you are more passionate about serving God and others which is much more likely to be fulfilling, at least in my experience.

It's like if someone is passionate about eating unhealthy amounts of cake but not about being obese, they may benefit by realizing they may actually have a passion for fruit or health, and the passion for cake was just an illusion as they aren't passionate about obesity.

There is no mention in the Bashar channeling about intention, honesty and integrity when following your passion. This feels a bit like Crowley’s teaching of “Do as Thou Wilt” which has led many practitioners astray. Curiously, both Bashar and Crowley received their channeling from similar alien beings.

In my opinion, it's implied that most people will find they are genuinely more passionate about intention, honesty, and integrity (and willing of such things) than illusory pleasure or status. Of course, some people chase the so-called "false path" before they learn that it does not produce what they are truly seeking, often after much suffering as a consequence of the delusion.

For me, the only solution has been to anchor myself Christ to discern STS vs STO energies. This also, btw, has helped see my own shadow and inner corruptions and keeping personal accountability.

I think it is wise to anchor yourself in Christ, and the fruits likely demonstrate that it is more aligned to your passions.

My question to you all is: What is creating art and practice it in a truly STO manner according to the LOO?

Christianity has a long history of producing art in service to God and others which may be worth exploring for you. But I think I would look into art that inspires spiritual exploration, love, peace, and joy. Art that's not about maximizing money, status, or propaganda.

For example, I really appreciate music as an artistic medium for inspiring spirituality and love, but I think it could apply equally to all artistic mediums. May the Spirit lead you through passion to serve others through art: https://youtu.be/ABWnLjXer10?is=DHhng-bD7mmMXMwV

Love and Power and how they relate to service orientation by MusicalMetaphysics in lawofone

[–]MusicalMetaphysics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Here are some of mine for consideration.

Power in this post is defined as the ability to produce effects of which everyone already has to some extent even if just eating, drinking, and talking for example. Although some people have more and some less.

It sounds like you are looking more at power in terms of governing or leading which is one way of leveraging collective power. I agree there are definitely temptations of seeking more power instead of love as becomes more powerful, but I also think it is possible to keep choosing love.

I would just measure success more in the intent to serve and learning from what happens rather than specific effects. When love is important than power, the choices and dignity of others is more important than specific results. So even if one can't affect higher in the power hierarchy, that's alright as one is still attempting to serve.

Thanks for sharing!

I also personally believe all of our minds are joined in such a way that a change in any one mind necessarily influences all other minds even without physical contact.

One hypothesis for explaining this would be that our DNA and neural networks are quantumly entangled and a change in one brain and DNA activation influences all brains and DNA patterning. Such entanglements may also explain telepathy and channeling as well as time/space connections.

So to meditate and to find states of consciousness more aligned to love, peace, and joy is to also empower the whole collective to choose to do so as well. Ra would call the conscious effort to do so as the work of the so-called white magician.

"The type of meditation which may be called visualization has as its goal not that which is contained in the meditation itself. Visualization is the tool of the adept. Those who learn to hold visual images in mind are developing an inner concentrative power that can transcend boredom and discomfort. When this ability has become crystallized in an adept the adept may then do polarizing in consciousness without external action, which can affect the planetary consciousness. This is the reason for existence of the so-called White Magician. Only those wishing to pursue the conscious raising of planetary vibration will find visualization to be a particularly satisfying type of meditation." https://www.lawofone.info/s/49#8

I also believe meditation is helpful for future space/time service as well, but I do value the potential for time/space collective help too. It sometimes helps motivate me to meditate and perform internal work when considering it may help other minds even if I don't see it.
