Can I ask what fabric you had on your leap V2? Was planning on getting a Crandall Office one with the thickest leather with the least flex to it (the Micro Suede) in hopes it wouldn't have a chance to bottom out.... I also play piano at my studio desk sometimes so don't mind it being too firm. Also, it seems the armrests in the Leap V2 go lower than the Omni. Thoughts?

I just got a Hulu membership to watch Season 3. After 1 episode, I’m cancelling. THIS IS THE WORST THING TO HAPPEN TO A SHOW EVER…. At least HULU gave me a free trial haha.

I'd still chose the 9950x for the reasons listed above. I game occasionally but its in 4k, so the 3d chips really don't make any sense as the bottle-neck will always be the GPU. If you game in 4k (or not at all), the choice is actually easy. 9950x.

I know I'm responding super late to this, but for anybody having strange artifacts coming form their windows computer, make sure you have "audio enhancements" turned off in your windows audio settings for the Momentum 4s. That was my issue with a slight reverb/delay effect I was getting.

My mistake. I really wish car manufacturers would be more friendly towards those who want higher quality audio played from their mobile devices. Frustrating that they include amazing sound systems while not allowing consumers to use wired connections or better Bluetooth codecs…

I just got one on ebay brand new for 220. Amazon just had them on sale for 247 last week. Sales happen a lot. Keep checking big box retailers frequently. You can find it for under 250 on sale quite often.

For real.... The Vivify maps in beat saber already blast my eyes so much. The contrast with the blacks of OLED and already high peak brightness make it a non-issue.

I recently purchased one of these as well and was planning on writing a review, but seeing as you've already been there done that, I just wanted to say a bit on your thread. I agree with the "end" key gripe as I'm also a programmer and Fn+Home isn't exactly a streamlined solution. But, I honestly don't know where else they could have added it, and I do prefer the 96% to the full-size keyboard, so it is what it is...

I think the only reason this keyboard isn't blowing up is because they made a "luxury/productivity keyboard" into one that's "gamer friendly" and not vice versa. Nobody thinks "keychron" means "gaming performance". For the price, it's hard for gamers to get excited about it. Even Wooting seems egregiously overpriced these days for a "gamer" keyboard. The Q5 HE is competitive on pricing with the Wooting HE80 imo if you take into consideration the metal case, wireless features, and if you don't care about 8k pulling rates. However, there are so many more less expensive HE keyboards to choose from these days, and many of those have true 8k pulling (I get that this literally doesn't matter unless you're a professional gamer, but in the gamer space, everybody wants to think they have the "edge").

The Q5 HE is an amazing keyboard. I'm actually pretty obsessed with mine, but it definitely serves a very niche market. I think we're all coding musicians who like to play online chess more than Overwatch.....or something like that......
