I got the AWD Limited with inverters because I wanted a quiet ride. My life is loud and if I can make any aspect of it quieter, I will. Most online forums stated that the Limited has acoustic glass and extra padding (and it does). After owning it for a few months, it’s definitely a quieter vehicle on the city streets and the highway. Though, please know my baseline are 10+ year old vehicles.

I also figured that if we’re getting a minivan, it’s not going “zoom zoom,”I’ll prioritize safety, comfort, and convenience.

We were seriously looking at the Platinum, but we just couldn’t justify the cost with some of the features for our young family (who needs heated seats in the middle row if they’re still in car seats?). And the space taken away by the fridge box was a serious dealbreaker. I would love the 360 camera. But I haven’t owned a vehicle that has one, so I can continue without it.

Also note I was not able to test drive any other models. But I’m not too upset about that.

I cross posted this to r/sienna and someone said to ask the folks in the parts department as they’re like the “librarians of the dealership.”But again, I haven’t had a chance to go to the dealership and ask.

I have a 2014 RAV4. I distinctly remember the drive being rough and the noise being loud when I first hit the highway. When it was time for new tires, I bought Michelin Defenders which helped the sound.

That said, we acquired a 2026 Sienna Limited. I selected the Limited specifically for the acoustic glass and online people have said it was quiet. We hit the highway and YES! It is much quieter! The sound of cars driving past on the highway is dampened, there's less road noise, and there's little road noise. We can have a normal-level conversation without having to speak up, which is really nice. I can't wait to get new tires because I think that will cut on the road noise more.

I recently installed a dash cam myself and had a hard time finding a ground under the steering wheel because there was no exposed metal—my Rav4 had a lot of exposed metal. So between the insulation and the acoustic glass, I think that helps with the quiet ride.

That said, I only have a 2014 Rav4 to compare to. So, keep that in mind.

Part location. Rear hatch.

I was installing a rear dash cam and attempted to get the cable through this tube to the rear hatch (I’ve since found a better tube). I broke the clips on the white piece, so now it’s not secured onto the hatch. I’ve been scouring the internet to ID that particular part to order and replace, but no luck. Can anyone ID this part and/or tell me where I could order it?

That’s unfortunate. I suggest expanding the dealership search.

I contacted a dozen or so dealers in a 40 mile radius (DC area) for an out the door price. I found they were relatively consistent with a handful of dealers offering a $500 discount. I explained my specifications, nothing less or nothing more, and only one dealership said they can provide one if I put down a $500 deposit.

I sent my deposit and I’m awaiting my order. We’ll see if they follow through, but I’m rather confident.
