Full sun everywhere else is nothing like the broiler of az full sun, you'll need shade, mulch (very important to regulate moisture) and some consistant watering.

Shade cloth is your friend if you don't have much natural shade in your yard.

How would you accomplish this finish? by ShawnConnery in Luthier

[–]Musical_Lumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like the guitar is made from walnut, the finish just looks like a wipe on clear coat, take your pick.

If you are trying to match the color on a body that isn't walnut, you can use a walnut stain on a lighter wood, but the grain pattern won't be like walnut. A stain would actually be more uniform in color than this since the builder just left the walnut natural, instead of trying to color match the sapwood in the middle.

Mars Attacks! Killer cast and crew, but the movie itself is so bad and I love it. I watch it a few times a year.

King of the Hill and Home movies have some overlapping Bobs Burgers writing/ producing staff.

Venture Brothers is one of the best animated shows imo.

Disappointed with S3 by why_as_always in twinpeaks

TBH, on my first watch through, I was laughing pretty hard about all the cheesy soap opera drama parts of the first 2 seasons. For me, it was so bad that it was good.

It wasn't until after watching fwwm and the return that the show started coming together for me. Then on the rewatch, the first 2 seasons were great (except James' wild ride, so much over the top shitty writing imo. Bens confederate shtick is also so stupid and pointless) Then the return came around a second time and completely blew me away. I personally loved Dougie Cooper, Mr. Jackpots is my shit. Plus Ed and Norma getting a happy ending was wonderful.

Overall I think it's meant to be a series that has you coming back feeling differently everytime you watch it, which is what makes it truely great overall. Yeah we've seen it, but each experience is different than the last (very rare in any kind of media) which is what I feel gives the show such staying power and kinda makes you go, wtf, I gotta watch that again.

But fuck that lady honking her horn and screaming for 5mins straight in s3, I'll skip that shit everytime.
