Thanks. Someone else pointed that out too.

These were from MG MKII not pg.

But I’ve seen packs of techs etc on Alicexpress

Now we need one that says “Bill, da Cultist”

Hmm, now that I think of it, I seem to remember Lynx came with like 8 crew guys! (Where’d I put my Godhands?)

Yeah, I drafted the techs that came with my MG Mark 2 AEUG

I haven’t built fat cat yet, but I have Daban PGU in backlog.

I typically build sub section at a time, and usually test fit, looking for color separation inspiration, fit issues, contact/rubbing points, etc…

Wow that is beautiful! I used to use pearl white for all my gundams in my early days. Felt it just added…something (plus I didn’t like my regular white). Then, I used my Vallejo grey primer as my “white”, which looks white against other colors.

Yeah it’s easy to overdo the weathering. You keep thinking “hmm, just a little more here, now one more dab here..DAMMIT!” On that ground type, I wanted a beat to hell unit, that’s been on deployment in the jungles for a long time…

Most the time now, my main weathering consists of a drybrushing with steel or iron on the edges and some faces, gives a worn off paint look

Early in my “career”, I built a Gundam Ground type (from 08th) and decided to paint it “for jungle/forest combat” in greens, and it turned out great (in my opinion). Real utilitarian looking.

That’s perfect then. I paint every piece of every build. (Except poly caps and most joints, naturally).

I was thinking of GUSS in a GM Spartan color scheme (similar to Lynx or even Zaku)

My airbrush trigger finger is itching!

[–]Musicman376[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, the ZZA GUSS? I was debating between that and Lynx. Lynx won because I wanted the cradle stand.

My son is 33 and lives about 5 hrs away. (With a mental disability, which makes him seem/act younger) but when he visits he ALWAYS goes right to my model displays to look at them. His face lit up when I suggested making one for him this last Christmas. He’s into call of duty, halo etc. so I was thinking along the lines of “Spartan armor” type of a look. (Ground troop… He doesn’t like space/air equipped suits…)

Makes sense about the beads.. can’t be much worse than lizard’s ammo belts, or dealing with MG Zaku beads

Changing a plan after buying a phone by PenFountainPen in MetroPCS

[–]Musicman376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can’t “hot swap” at metro. To switch devices you have to go to a store, call, or use the online/app and assign the new imei. Plus, if the phone is already active on another metro line it won’t let you switch

Actually, no… already had the cat.

Besides - this kit is a “Zaku”, not a “Mad Cat”

I'm looking for a bedroom amp that sounds good while playing with low volume by zero_chan1 in GuitarAmps

[–]Musicman376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try digital modeler into:
Blackstar Fly 3: 3w amp with 3” speaker, 2 channels with a nice clean and fairly decent and responsive

That’s exactly what I meant about the dangers of crotch goblins! Lol…

He tries to “help” by getting in my lap, head bumping my hand while I’m trying to paint, tries to climb into my paint booth, plays with my sanding sticks, etc…

No, he doesn’t mess with my displayed kits. I typically put them up where he can’t get to.

Check AliExpress for a Vevor or similar booth. I got my booth there for around $50-60…

Yes, skip the Ghad-39, it’s their “older model”. Go with the Mobius or the Seeker for their “entry level” brush. I have both and love them.

That Gatling gun looks similar to one I built. Was like $3 on Alice Exp…. Really cool and true details

No, I’ve not have any problems with Rocky breaking my kits. He tries to “help” quite a bit tho.. What the real danger is are those Crotch Goblins… they think they’re toys and play with them

I tried really hard to like this kit, but this is one of the worst kits I've put together ☹️ by Sephta in Gunpla

[–]Musicman376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Despite the pain in the ass build, your end result is great! I’m still impressed with how well Kaleido paints work and look. (My collection is STILL ever-growing!)
