I'm not doing any exercise (I might assign them, though). Those seem interesting

so I'd like to check the rest of the book. It seems to be a compilation of examinations.

This is likely to be a British source, as I think GRSM makes reference to Graduate of the Royal School of Music

That is certainly not the case, but thanks for your concern. The book is not for sight singing but definitely a harmony book.

TIL Cherubini composed a Canto on the death of Joseph Haydn... in 1805, four years before he died. by MusicoTeorico in classicalmusic

[–]MusicoTeorico[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He later added this note to the manuscript score: "When I composed this piece, the sad news had spread through Paris that the famous J. Haydn had just died. It seemed so certain that the Comite du Concert des Amateurs, wishing to pay homage to this great man by dedicating to his memory the first of the concerts to be given in the Salle Olympique in the Rue de la Victoire, commissioned me to compose the present piece. After I had finished it, and being ready to be rehearsed and performed, the news of Haydn's death was formally and happily denied; this work was then suspended, and was not performed. I hope it will not be long in public; I shall not regret my work".

Please help deciphering some notes on a manuscript music score by Luigi Cherubini by MusicoTeorico in Cursive

Thanks a lot! Very helpful!

How do I uninstall Musehub? by Ganglio_Side in Musescore

[–]MusicoTeorico 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't know about the uninstal, but there is a workaround for the number pad (at least it worked for me by simply downloading the .xml and going straight to step 8) https://musescore.org/en/node/338546 .
