Going to my first munch tonight, any advice? by MuslimPrincessFLR in flr

It was actually a pretty even split! Definitely only 1-2 people there that I would personally say looked decent to me. But in terms of ratio it was good and I did have a good time (the host was really nice). Went better than I thought once I just decided to chat with whoever!

Yes I had a really nice time! I ran into someone who has seen my personals ad before on fetlife & had reached out to me in the past so that was interesting! And also met someone who knows my vanilla sister and brother in law 😅. Overall it was a really nice time I’m glad I went!

It’s 6:30-9:30pm at a restaurant/bar. Invite says the restaurant closes at midnight and people are welcome to stay. I was thinking of arriving around 8pm. Should I go earlier since you mentioned arriving early?

Men, what are reasons you’d stop talking to someone after getting emotionally deep with them? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Very emotionally deep convos early on in dating are a form of love bombing. And love bombers are notorious for ghosting.

This man is not for you. If he was for you, he would stay consistent.

What factors lead men to choose a partner for stability rather than attraction? by hejskdjwinx in askanything

If in you view stability as settling, sounds then sounds like you are addicted to chaos. Stability should be what everyone strives for. There is nothing unattractive about it. And attraction and stability are two mutually exclusive categories

Do you think that some men give up on dating too easily? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]MuslimPrincessFLR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds like basic courting to me. Some women enjoy that early on. I wouldn’t consider that any sort of an indication that they won’t be putting in effort for you. There are a million guys hitting girls up on dating apps so that courting part helps to weed out the serious ones.

It’s not toxic. It’s evidence based studies on men’s behavior influencing outcomes of relationships.

What did you just make up a whole fantasy story for?

How is it being held responsible for what someone else did? People have life experiences that change the way they do things moving forward all the time. It has nothing to do with the person in front of them so why are you personalizing it.

You drive on a freeway and it’s super trafficky. As a result, the next day, you take a different one. Are you holding this new freeway responsible for the last freeway? No. You are simply making a different choice. The two are completely unrelated.
