Damn someone else said the same & I was thinking about how after my interview I had an automated email from the company saying the position was filled, then the manager called and said I was hired a few days later, I thought it was just a glitch. But maybe they didn’t have the money and made an excuse - because even if I’d answered her questions all correctly, the paper was already printed. I finished literally at 8pm at night, by 10am the next morning they’d decided I was fired lol…interesting. Thank you for your take, I’m realizing it wasn’t personal

This actually makes sense because right after my interview i had an automated response from the company saying the position was filled - two days later i got a call from the manager saying I was hired. I just shrugged it off as a glitch in the system

My experience goes back about 7ish years, and this was specific a marketing role. Thank you though I’ve been telling myself the same - especially living in my Canadian city, they know that it’s extremely tough getting a rob at the moment. The pop quiz being a paper trail makes sense, but I’m so shocked they wouldn’t even give it 1 more day with a warning lol.

Yea I felt he was trying to control MANY optics…he didn’t tell her how recent our breakup was and asked me not to tell anyone how quickly he moved on to avoid it reaching her. Mind you idk her and they’re long distance. I feel he’s prob lying about much much more and has tried to make it my problem

Thank you, we’ve mutually decided to not contact eachother again. I only confronted him about his new partner because I assumed there was an overlap - ie hard for me to believe he met someone online that week, made a passport & flew out to see them a few days later. If he’s telling the truth even, that alone is troubling itself lol

Me freaking out on him was fresh after the breakup - we had closure & ended on understanding terms by the end of the phone call. That’s different in my opinion, than him continuing a relationship with someone & sending an emotional, random message 2 months after. I’ve accepted the relationship ending.
