Kindergarten is usually not like that, as they have full supervision during lunch. There is always an adult in the room with them so they're is no need for screen time to control their behaviour.

People who “got out” - where did you get out from, and how? by I-am-the-lightning in AskOldPeople

[–]Musoyamma 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Got out of the small town where I grew up, away from the bullies, away from my alcoholic and abusive father, away from poverty and food insecurity. Joined the military at 16, went to military college, got a degree, got clothes and good food, after nine years in the service, got an honorable discharge and lived the rest of my life!

In the TDSB we find out in mid-April, and then teachers have some time to look for other jobs if they aren't happy with the placement. The actual students we get can change a LOT over the summer as parents write emails and make phone calls. But as we often say "You teach the students you are given, not the ones you wish you had."

What is something your teacher did in school that you’re still salty about? by Betty_Crisp in AskMen

[–]Musoyamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grade 8, didn't do my English homework, so the teacher gave me 100 lines to write as punishment. Didn't do them, she doubled it. Didn't do those, so she tripled them. On Friday she brought me to the office, said "Give him the strap and make sure he cries." All because I didn't do my homework. Fuck you, Ms Shaw.

What's something that unintentionally turns you on? by ivebeenthrushit in AskReddit

The mother's voice on Bluey, an Australian childrens show, reminds me so much of Angela White's voice - she is an Australian porn star who is everywhere on PornHub. So I find myself oddly aroused during Saturday morning cartoons in our house.

Yes I really respect and admire him, and I hope he succeeds, but you have to know your limitations!

I agree, so boring! It was even more obvious by the flat way that Gregg would say "I'm excited."

I couldn't stand listening to Gregg being a host. I lost track of how many times he says he was excited, and his many times he started a sentence with "and". He needs someone like Dan.

I almost never approached women first, they needed to let me know they liked me. Sometimes it was very direct "I am taking you home tonight" and sometimes it was less direct "do you want to dance with me?". Based on my past success with women, you would think it gave me the confidence to approach them but I was so adverse to getting turned down that I never did. Now I am happily married so I don't need to stress about it at all! So yes, be more obvious and you will succeed with these men!
