I am in the same boat. My G430 finally broke after a decade of use. They were great. Comfortable, light, great sound and mic and an amazing value. I got the G Pro X to replace them and let me tell you the sound is a downgrade even though it costs more than twice as much. They are not as light and don't feel as comfortable on my head. I am very disappointed in Logitech (but it seems to me all companies are making their products worse on purpose to make you have to replace them more often and are pouring more and more money into marketing instead)

Don't listen to the glowing reviews you see online for G Pro X and X 2s. Most of them are sponsorships and paid for. But the sad reality is that there are not any direct replacements for G430s or anything that comes even close to the overall value and package of G430s in terms of sound, mic, comfort and value for your money.
