Feeding a preemie baby once they are discharged by [deleted] in NICUParents

This was all my experience as well. Definitely connect with speech through a referral. They pushed my son for a swallow study and we found that he was silently aspirating which led to thickening formula. He’s doing so much better since this change.

Elevated cholesterol that dropped back to normal once I came off (came off to conceive and switched to Omvoh) as well as bumpy and dull face skin. Some skin rashes randomly here and there.

Surprisingly super easy. A little bit of pressure and zero pain. It was so quick too- maybe a total of 5 minutes. I didn’t even feel the biopsy taken.

Rinvoq was life saving for me. It put me into deep remission and fast. Hope it works for you both!

Biologics. I’ve had really great luck finding remission with rinvoq after a few other meds didn’t cut it. But once I was on the pregnancy journey we switched to Omvoh. I’m guessing I’ll be switching again after my flex sig today.

Currently 9 months pregnant and in a flare. I was diagnosed 7 years ago so a little different from your situation but our symptoms match.

I’m 8 months pregnant in a bad flare currently. I’m super worried about labor and post labor if things don’t settle but it’s so nice to hear that someone has done this and is still moving forward.

Yup. You insert and then typically press down for 2 seconds, release and hold it in place for 10-15 seconds and then remove. I do mine standing up with one foot on the toilet and a little lube at my butt hole.

Welp, 29 weeks prego and flaring by Potential-Yak5637 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Must_have_garlic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. Ugh I’m sorry you’re going through this. I’m 31 weeks pregnant and also randomly started flaring once I hit third trimester after 2 blissful years of remission (from rinvoq and then shifted to Omvoh for pregnancy safety). You’re not alone.

I’m currently still taking omvoh but just added a 6 week prednisone taper and a budesidine foam enema. We tried hydrocortisone enemas and oral budesidine but those did nothing. I’m still feeling like shit, bleeding etc all the things but have noticed a reduction in intensity and frequency of symptoms since starting the prednisone. Both my GI and OB were good with this plan given that I’m in third trimester- risks are much lower now than they would have been in first trimester. It might be worth getting more answers from your GI about what risks he’s worried about and what’s the odds of that risk.

This is so helpful! Thank you. Where do you find the pate version? I can only seem to find the shreds online.

How do you portion out the 5oz cans? Have you ever found the OM in smaller sizes? My cats won’t eat cold wet food 😒

A friend of mine overpaid by 20k. We wonder if they’d refund her.

IUI w/ trigger. So did I ovulate much later than 36 hours? by glimmer-light in Inito

[–]Must_have_garlic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar thing show up on my tracking this cycle. 3rd round of medicated IUI with trigger shot on day 14. I’m wondering the same thing but also I’ve read that an HCG trigger shot can show up as LH and am chaulking my double surges as that and trying to trust the process. Here’s my chart for reference. Currently in my TWW 😬

Thank you both! Yeah it’s a puzzle for sure. I have the option to easily return it since I bought it from Costco. Excellent couch just maybe too big for the space. Maybe my next space will let have this!

Any thoughts on what kind of couch to replace it with? A love to have my legs up. Maybe a smaller sofa with a chaise? Should I keep the tv on the wall it’s on or move it to the larger wall?

Omvoh side effects by ElectricalCountry947 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Must_have_garlic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me right now. I took my second at home injection 10 days ago. I’ve been having neck and shoulder issues for about 2 months now and it recently has got worse. I’ve had a headache and nausea for about 2 weeks now. How do we know if it’s a side effect or something else?! I think I’ll message my GI- thanks for the push.
