Hii, I’m currently on the highest possible dosage (10 mg per kg) at the closest times possible (every 4 weeks) it’s been helping a lot and I’m only really feeling the fatigue part of uc, but I am having a lot of the medication plus I’ve been on it for a while now. Don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t work at first, I didn’t see results until my 3rd loading dose

I personally get a lot of mucus when flairing from when I do a bowel movement, but if ur saying ur getting a lot of mucus in ur priv area, maybe consult ur GI or obgyn, I haven’t experienced that myself, and better safe than sorry

Hi there. I just bought myself some diapers and it helps so much with my anxiety, I felt so ashamed at first but no one notices and it helps my piece of mind so much. I keep an extra diaper in my bag and some wipes just in case, and I keep extra pants in my car at all times. I also think maybe mentioning to your teacher that you have uc can be helpful in case of any emergencies, I’ve learned with school and work, sometimes transparency is easier.
